Pope Snubs Vance and Gets Deputy to Lecture VP on Compassion (1 Viewer)

Empathy comes easy when one isn’t overrun with immigrants and having to process them. Such as the Vatican.
We are far from being overrun with immigrants. We as a nation have laws that mandate how immigrants are to be treated, We also have morality such as the ethic of reciprocity about how our fellow people are to be treated.

Do you consider yourself to be christian, or does that only apply when it benefits you?

Yes, believe it or not, that is actually a thing.... so called Christians finding Jesus too woke, wanting instead a-Christian actions against their grievances. Literally choosing Trump over Jesus...

Given this is Resurrection weekend, let us remind everyone that the Jews chose Barabbas, an insurrectionist, over "too woke" Jesus as well because Christ disappointed them that we would not overthrow Rome. It seems in 2000 years, certain parts of the church have not learned a thing. Then again, that is the curse of man: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Yes, the key is, being that what Christianity preaches is outside of this world, when they start supporting this world's political systems as their means you know they've lost the plot and have been infiltrated.

Funny how there seems to be a growing trend of religious leaders attempting to get this administration to show compassion to our fellow man.
I'm beginning to think the Pope would make a better President than the current one, and that's saying something.

I would agree with Trump taxing the Vatican. Tax all churches to pay for aid to the poor and universal healthcare.
Catholic Charities gets high ratings (A+), where I believe above 90% goes to the needy. The rest is costs to achieve that.

And I am sure the Trump cabal is shocked that the Catholic church is not bowing and kissing their feet.

His retribution tour is the only thing keeping him in the WH, he can never let that go, but now there is diminishing returns. The facade is already cracking with discontent at the town halls.

Trump as Barabbas - that's fitting.

The Pope nearly died a month ago, and he's still not doing well. Surely he can be forgiven for not meeting with the VPOTUS, without it being a "snub."

There are 6 Catholic Justices on SCOTUS. No one is taxing that church.
Now, if only the Pope could get ahold of them about other matters…

It’s amazing to me that people believe these six Catholics wield so much power to influence and propagate the Catholic religion from the Supreme Court, yet their right wing rulings so often go against what the Church actually teaches. They act more as slaves to their right wing ideology on the law than anything resembling Catholicism. At least in my opinion.

Well, his grasp on life is much more tenuous, that's something.

Seems they made time together.

It appears that JD is quite clueless. Nastiness, and criminality are not Christian attributes last time I checked.

Breaking News: House Republicans introduce a bill to eliminate the Papacy.

Seems they made time together.

>Mr. Vice President. I have an ask, if I may. Please be kind.

>>Heh heh! Looks to me like you're about to keel over. I'll respond to your request in the afterlife. Suck it, lib.
