Polls show Donald Trump is overwhelming favorite in Florida

The endorsements are rolling in...

Unless something really big happens, and at this point I can't even imagine what it could be, the Donald is inevitable.

It would be funny if it were not so sad on how this election will end up playing out. History book and key event writers are going to have a field day with 2016.

The Republicans have brought this on themselves. They have allowed their party to be taken over by teabaggers and extremists. This has to be the sorriest lot of candidates I've ever seen in a Presidential campaign. The fact that Trump is not only winning but destroying the competition is a reflection of how bad it has become. There is no room in the GOP any more for reasonable/moderate candidates.

LOL oh sure, until you look at the Democrat candidates. You have the most corrupt politician since Nixon and the most liberal since McGovern.

They have spent the last 7 years being "anti" everything and doing nothing but obstructing any form of progress. The Donald doesn't seem to have any plans to speak of, just we will be great, magnificent, Muslims are banned and on and on....fortunately I dont think his Animal House sophmoric rhetoric will play with enough voters to get him elected POTUS. But what do I know, I never thought he would last a week.

Seems like everyone hates all the candidates. More parties, candidates will line up closer to what you want. Only makes sense to me. The 2 party system is failing us.

Well we'll see. Trump has underperformed polls when he was beaten up a bit in the debate beforehand, and last night was not pretty for him. Additionally, Rubio usually overperforms with late deciders.

I think if Florida is lost, we can probably (at this point) blame Kasich and, to a lesser extent, Carson.

The spread keeps getting larger.

Interesting to note is the bolded. Hillary not only has to fight her own huge battles, but must convince the voters that she can do better than the current problem in the White House.

RCP puts Hillary vs Donald within statistical limits. I guess the Donald is not going to self destruct, and Hillary is not the shoo in that once we thought.

Super Tuesday is around the corner. Almost 600 delegates. Its going to tell us a lot more than Florida will. I think it will be the finish line one way or another.

Trump is using 'Southern Strategy'. But he's using a much more blunt version of it. He's being very overt about it, very open. In the past being too open while using it would have backfired. But in today's GOP, it is applauded.

The GOP chose to become "The Party of NO". No ideas.....just reject everything. The problem that they are encountering now is that you don't garner much support or confidence when THAT is your entire platform and performance.

LOL....yet the majority of polling is showing that Trump won the debate. So I guess he didn't get beaten up that badly.

Rubio had an optics problem last night. Affected Cruz too. In looking at it again this morning I realized how much taller Trump is than both of them. They looked like two kids going after their father. Especially Rubio, who had a huge snarky smile on his face as he was attacking. That didn't hurt Trump, that hurt Rubio.

Trump got a five point bump from the debate last night.

That is so distasteful... using the KKK for your partisan deeds.

The NYDN is indeed distasteful. In this case they are painfully right. There is a reason why the David Dukes of the world love Donald. He's a racist demogogue

I agree. It may not be fair...and it certainly isn't something that I hope people vote on...but Rubio's shortness puts him at a huge disadvantage. As you say, he looks like a little kid trying to throw punches at his father. It does not portray Rubio in a good light.

Why don't you just stump for your own chosen candidate rather than baiting and trolling the choices of others? Is that because your choice is unacceptable? A massive crook and liar?

You're getting desperate.

i did not see rubio's smile as 'snarky'
it came off as one who was self-surprised
astonished that he could actually stand toe-to-toe with the donald and prevail
i believe rubio's ability to engage in verbal combat with trump surprised himself

Sure. Online polls also gave us President Ron Paul. Remember him?
