I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but when people vote in polls, and they have more than one word in their name, the poll tends to count those people more than once in the poll results.

Also, I'm not sure about this, but likewise it may be the case that the system counts names with more than one word as more than one "thank you" also.

I don't think that's actually the case...the reason you might see more votes than there are names listed is because anyone (registered or not) can vote in polls. So it's not at all uncommon for a vote to be 15-12, but to have around 8 or 9 names on each side.

RightinNYC is correct. Member names will be displayed (if that option was selected), while guest votes are counted yet not denoted.
