Just goes to show that Clinton is not the opinion leader America is looking for.

What that means I can not say though as I myself am highly entertained reading Michael Moore's dribble and I know some of the people who listened to Howard Stern the longest were the ones who hated him the most. :rofl

Ann Coulter must be a lonely woman. I actually feel sorry for her. When I saw her on the Today show, she exuded hatred. She was shaking, she was so angry. Anyone who was secure with themselves would be able to express themselves intelligently, without resorting to the tactics she resorted to that day. I know some of that was drama so that her book would sell, but if you look at the content of her books, she is full of hate, and that is not something you can pretend. How pathetic.

"Moreover, if women are so pro-abortion why are virtually all abortionists men? If ever there was a need for a Take Our Daughters To Work Day, it's at the abortion mills."
"Lliberals are more upset when a tree is chopped down than when a child is aborted. Even if one rates an unborn child less than a full-blown person, doesn't the unborn child rate slightly higher than vegetation?"
"The Democrats need pro-life votes, but there's the small problem that they won't budge an inch on abortion. So they make crazy arguments for abortion, allowing not the tiniest restriction, while periodically pretending to have qualms about abortion. It's the most amazing spectacle, as if Ronald Reagan were slashing taxes talking about what a "sad, tragic choice" it is to cut taxes or giving speeches about how tax cuts should be "safe, legal, and rare." Except that even Reagan didn't have the gusto for cutting taxes that the Democrats have for ending human life."

Yet not one of us on the other side of the isle makes any post in support or reference to material by the comedian Al Franklin, and the likes.
Then there's this constant -> Damn you liberals attitude.
I'm quite sick of this, if those of you have no other better argument except for "you retarded libearls are ruining everything" then get the hell out of here, seriously - note at the top of the pages? Civility a must. You should've noticed by now that playing partisan doesn't work?
Grow up and graduate from high school already.
But if the real source of today's bitter partisanship is a Republican move to the right on economic issues, why have the last three elections been dominated by talk of terrorism, with a bit of religion on the side? Because a party whose economic policies favor a narrow elite needs to focus the public's attention elsewhere. And there's no better way to do that than accusing the other party of being unpatriotic and godless.

He consistently blames everything bad going on in the world today on Bush and the Republican party. There is absolutely nothing wrong with liking columnists and authors like this but to suggest that the ones who are biased towards your political leaning have some type of moral high ground while the ones that lean the other way are lower life forms is just, in my opinion, silly.
"But the vitriol also reflects the fact that many of the people at the Republican National Convention, for all their flag-waving, hate America. They want a controlled, monolithic society; they fear and loathe our nation's freedom, diversity and complexity."-Paul Krugman
"Can we break the machine that is imposing right-wing radicalism on the United States? The scariest part is that the media is part of that machine."-

All of these people are to some degree entertainers attempting to entertain likeminded folk with their opinions. Some are edgier than others but they're all making their money the same way....by reflecting back to us what we dislike about our political opponents. Some are wittier than others and some are way over the top so depending on your mood and preference you can find someone for you. Some people like clean comics and some people get a kick out of Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock, or Howard Stern. Coulter is outrageous in a way that turns many off. Moore is similar though it's more subtle and passive aggressive. Others, like Krugman, attempt to walk the line while trying to remain credible but they are all in the same business.....entertaining us with their opinions.
aps said:Paul Krugman doesn't have the nastiness in him that Ann Coulter has. Sure he attacks republicans, but I don't see him display the hatred that she does. He displays passion, and he does it in an intelligent way. She doesn't know the meaning of constructively attacking the other party--she destructively attacks the other party, which is the sign of a weak and pathetic mind. Seriously. Michael Moore doesn't have half the intelligence that Paul Krugman has.

More of that wonderful liberal tolerance we all miss so much. While I think that Ann is a publicity hound, at least she's pretty honest. If you compare her to someone like M. Moore, she's stands up as a pretty obnoxious, but at least honest person.aps said:When essentially half of voting America voted for this president, I am not surprised that her book is popular. As much as I despise M. Moore, the guy isn't dumb. In order to convince millions of Americans of the lies he spread, he had to be pretty smart. What amazes me is that liberals actually still admire the guy. It's a proven fact that he was hugely deceptive in his movies and made millions of dollars in doing, money that he took from liberals primarily. If someone lied to me and took my money, I'd be pretty ticked off, but the left just seems to fawn over him.aps said:Paul Krugman doesn't have the nastiness in him that Ann Coulter has.
