You're making yourself feel way too important by calling the Tea Party "alive" and "stronger than ever". That's simply not true. Where is Michelle Bachmann now? Not seeking re-election. Where is Sarah Palin? Getting shows cancelled on TLC. Where is Beck? Who knows - probably blaming Jews fo something. Where are John Boehner's approval ratings? So low underground most people in his state don't even like him. Where is Marco Rubio today? Same place as Milly Vanilly. Nobody knows.
With that said:
Where are the demonstrations with 50,000 people these days?
Where are the Midwest seats in the Tea Party? Where are the Washington seats? Where are the North East seats?
The Tea Party can basically be summarized as the "Texas Party". They've got 2-3 other states behind them but in reality, they haven't expanded. If anything, they've basically taken over Republican seats by using Republican money and Republican representatives. Your delusions of a growing movement are just that. Delusions. They're stagnant and dying for the most part.
Because the goal of the teabaggers is not to honestly work towards making the ACA better. Their goal is to destroy it. It is never prudent to "negotiate" with extortionists.
Yes, all of us are bigots and racist. All of us called the POTUS every name in the book. You're right.:roll:Bible thumping, bigots, racist, that have called the President every name in the book other than an American! WE shall see how long those votes last! Because more than a few moderates are sick of them. Oh and Cruz isnt smart enoug to understand a childs book and he lies.
LOL. They took Obamas and the IRS's best illegal shot and they are still ticking like a windup clock.
Where are all those Dem's that lost their seats in the House from 2010 because of the Tea Party? Bachman didn't lose hers. Palin and Beck never had one. But those Dem's still can't be found these days.

Nobody has the goal of making Obamadon'tcare any better. Obama said so, as he says he won't negotiate it.
there are plenty of democrats still in the house of representatives. and they have the ability to pass a clean continuing resolution to fund the government, end this shutdown, and without having to pass any poison pill amendments targeting the affordable care act, and Boehner or the republican house leadership would be unable to prevent it coming to a vote.
the answer is a Discharge petition.
The democrats are not powerless in the house of congress. they have the ability to gather signatures for a discharge petition and force a vote on a clean continuing resolution bill.
Yes, that's why Discharge Petitions are used frequently...
In 1986, after Peter W. Rodino, the Democratic congressman from New Jersey, who was then the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, said he wouldn’t consider a gun-rights bill the Senate had passed with a large bipartisan majority, the National Rifle Association decided to go for an end-run around the chamber’s leadership.
After the Senate passed comprehensive immigration reform legislation Thursday, supporters of the bill are in a similar situation. Now, some on the left are suggesting that Democrats in the House do what the NRA did then: Gather signatures for what is known as a discharge petition.
The discharge petition allows an absolute majority of the House of Representatives (218 lawmakers) to force a floor vote on a bill, even if the leadership, who usually controls what legislation makes it to the floor, is opposed. The opposition party can, in theory, use the technique to hijack the legislative agenda on an issue that divides the majority.
The NRA’s tactic worked back in the 80s. The bill passed the House 292 to 130, significantly weakening the 1968 Gun Control Act by requiring evidence of “willful” violations in prosecutions of gun dealers, among other provisions.
A discharge petition succeeded again in 2002, forcing a vote in the House on the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform legislation. (McCain-Feingold, of course, was partially struck down by the Supreme Court in the Citizens United case in 2010.)
But these are the only two examples of successful discharge petitions on major legislation in recent history. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) threatened to bring a discharge petition this winter during the fiscal cliff negotiation, but never made good on the threat.
No he didn't....that is BS. As for negotiating....negotiate what? There is nothing to negotiate. The ACA was passed by both houses of Congress, signed into law and has been upheld by the United State Supreme Court. Why would anyone negotiate with extortionists?

their only used when extreme cases of partisan gridlock: like when the leadership of the party in charge of the house prevent legeslation from coming up for a vote.
it has been done before, and i believe it was used to pass a bill supported by the NRA.
The discharge petition’s role in the immigration reform debate, explained
all you need is 218 signatures
She may as well have. She won by a full percentage point in district that's been Republican more often than it has been Democrat.
Yes, that's why Discharge Petitions are used frequently...
I understand this, but good luck finding support from Repubs to get a majority. It is basically use only when the majority wants to cede power to the minority in rare instances...
The signatures are almost there. The House is composed of 200 Democrats, who would likely get behind the petition if someone started organizing. Then they’d only need to find 18 Republican allies to make it happen. Most likely, they could rely on some of the Republicans who voted against at least one of their party’s sham funding bill on the floor on Monday: Reps. Charlie Dent (R-PA), Peter King (R-NY), Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL), Chris Gibson (R-NY), Richard Hanna (R-NY), and Scott Rigell (R-VA) were the six who voted against it because it was too extreme.
And additional five Reps. Patrick Meehan (R-PA, Mike Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Jon Runyan (R-NJ), Devin Nunes (R-CA), Frank Wolf (R-VA) have, since the shutdown began, come out in favor of a clean bill. Another two Representatives — Frank LoBiondo (R-NJ) and Reid Ribble (R-WI) — have hinted that they might be, as well, bringing the count of Republicans to 13.
So Obama is to blame for the fact that their numbers have been dwindling for years?
She may as well have. She won by a full percentage point in district that's been Republican more often than it has been Democrat.
So Michelle Bachmann is being reelected in a district that has been mostly Republican for.... 50 years. Big deal. Where will she be in 2016? As I said - not seeking reelection.
Minnesota 6th Congressional District 2012 [14]
Party Candidate Votes Percentage
Republican Michele Bachmann (Incumbent) 179,240 50.47%
DFL Jim Graves 174,944 49.26%
Write-In Others 969 0.27%
Totals 355,153 100.0%
The strength of the Tea Party: Winning districts that are already Republican.
They seem to be imposing their will as we speak.
some of the votes are there. consider the Republicans who voted against their party's continuing resolution bills, or have spoken out againsit their parties extreme tactics.
How Lawmakers Can Get The Government Funded Again | ThinkProgress
Once again, where are all those Dems that lost in 2010 because of the Tea Party?
Scott Brown took Teddy's seat...
Who took his seat after? I'll give you a clue - it wasn't a Tea Party member.
No, it's their will to at least delay the individual mandate of Obamacare. Along with other provisions that aren't getting the same attention as that one. I agree, they aren't getting it. However, I believe their view is that the Dems aren't getting what they want either. If their will was to shut down the US government, you'd have a point. As they want to gut Obamacare, not really. It's not going to happen. A government shutdown does not mean what you think it means.
Is their "will" to shut down national parks, museums and zoos? Nope? Oh, they're closed anyways.
Is their "will" to shut down the IRS? Nope. Taxes will still be collected.
Is their will to shut down Obamacare? Oh, alright, it's still being implemented as we speak.
Is their will to shut down gun sales? Oh, alright because gun permits don't get processed without a functioning government.
Is their will to hurt small businesses? Oh alright, because small business owners can't get loans from government.
In essence, Republicans haven't done anything but shut down cultural institutions, hurt gun owners and small businesses. ObamaCare is still being implemented, the IRS is still collecting taxes. So what have they accomplished? Well, they've made it harder to get a gun, a loan and have subsequently arranged it so people can't even go camping.
