Political Difference and Friends

A friend I used to work with years ago and who now lives somewhere in the Georgia (I think) keeps sending me garbage political emails.
We both know that we're on different ends of the spectrum when it comes to our political views. I don't ever send her anything political.....ever.
So I just opened my email and had another email from her about "Obama the Terrible"

"Snopes verified".......she said.

Of course I had to go to Snopes to see what was what. It was a reprint in a tabloid that had been originally written on a blog!

I sent her the information that she obviously didn't bother reading.....found at the bottom of the page of Snopes....and asked her to stop sending me political emails, again. Yes, I asked her to stop one other time during the election but she started back up.


I don't know why people do that. I wouldn't send any of my conservative friends a pile of ****, wrapped up in pretty paper and try to pass it off as a gift. Matter of fact, I don't send them anything political.

My final opinion is that she has better friends than I do.

sounds reasonable.

people are more antagonistic to this president than any i have known since LBJ... and he had the blood of Vietnam on his hands.

i hesitate to suggest motives other than political, but i would just write her off, block the email address and keep on keeping on.
