I concur. I'm not a socialist, but I think it is popular enough to warrant it's own lean category.

And to be fair if it existed I'd identify as one. There's a lot of misinformation about socialist thought as well. We dont want the state to 'own everything'.

That is a misrepresentation though. I am actually more left then a Socialist and liberals are still in favour of Capitalism. So I am stuck with the tag "other". :/

DP has a socialist user-group. It may not be a political lean option but there is a tag/user-group for it.

I think this would be a good idea.

1. Socialist is an official political term
2. We have a few socialist members
3. People confuse the various stripes of liberal with socialist, it may help clear up that confusion.
