Plane tickets are getting cheaper as domestic travel demand weakens (1 Viewer)

There were two options for Trump to lower prices for people like he clearly promised. One was to create effective policies to drive down costs. The second was to send the country into a recession so that people are fearing for their jobs and investments, and too scared to spend. Trump chose the second option because he has no idea how to do the first option.

Air travel is horrible for the environment. Hopefully weak demand continues.

I think SW airlines during their earnings call said something like "The airline industry is already in the middle of a recession".
Their CEO's pay doubled last year... and their stock has sucked for several years. It's down like 60%.

No wonder the multi millionaire is sweating... no one feels sorry for him.

This will help lower inflation.

Funny for us here in Japan to see this topic at this time. We are in what is called Golden Week, and a long one it is, this time. Longer than a week. And ticket prices are way up, IF you can even get a ticket.

So if you folks are having trouble filling up your birds over there, hurry up and send a few empty birds over here.

Oh yes, why aren't you also including cargo revenue flights in the calculations? Are the cargo birds also empty over there?
