Yep - In every imaginable way, Trump has been a catastrophe for the country, and we're not rid of him yet.We didn't hear an explicit summary, but a committee source outlined it to CNN this way:
1. Trump engaged in a massive effort to spread false and fraudulent information to the American public claiming the 2020 election was stolen from him.
2. Trump corruptly planned to replace the acting attorney general, so that the Department of Justice would support his fake election claims.
3. Trump corruptly pressured Vice President Pence to refuse to count certified electoral votes in violation of the U.S. Constitution and the law.
4. Trump corruptly pressured state election officials, and state legislators, to change election reeam and other Trump associates instructed Republicans in multiple states to create false electoral slates and transmit those slates to Congress and the National Archives.
5. Trump summoned and assembled a violent mob in Washington and directed them to march on the U.S. Capitol.
6. As the violence was underway, Trump ignored multiple pleas for assistance and failed to take immediate action to stop the violence and instruct his supporters to leave the Capitol.
7. Trump accommodated “blanket pardons” for those charged in connection with the Capitol riot, and how several of his top political allies pushed unsuccessfully to be included in such pardons.
8. Trump called for an end to the Constitution.
When the committee gets to the third point, the pressure campaign on Mike Pence pressure, I assume that will include all the material on attorney John Eastman, the mastermind of that particular scheme. In whichever hearing addresses the fourth point, pressure on state election officials and state legislators, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is reportedly set to testify.

Well isn't that bad news.Anyone who supports Trump needs to understand that if he DID win this election he would be ineligible for another so he wouldn't need them anymore, would have no more use for them. If they think he'll be loyal to any people or any promise they'd better think again. His agenda will be completely self-focused.
In other words, no different than his last term ??!!His agenda will be completely self-focused.
When you are mesmerized by Trump lilting drone, and blinded by his beauty, you recognize that everyone who opposes him must be nothing more than a disgruntled former employee, a communist/socialist/librul/dummy, or a RINO, no matter what their record of loyalty to conservative ideals, patriotism and service to this country, or voting record in Congress is. If they oppose Trump, they must be dangerous, and intent on tearing this country down. Full stop.Trump always picks the "top people". Maybe we should listen to them:
For example, Rex Tillerson, called him a "****ing moron".
Or Jim Mattis, who said working with him was like working with a "fifth or sixth grader" or that "He is more dangerous than anyone can imagine".
How about Bill Barr, who called him an "unhinged maniac"?
How about Mark Esper, who admitted Trump is "unfit for office" and "He puts himself before country. His actions are all about him and not about the country"?
How about former Chief of Staff, John Kelly, who has said Trump "is the most flawed person I have ever met" or that he "has no idea what America stands for" and "has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the Rule of Law"?
Mike Pence: “I cannot in good conscience vote for Donald Trump”
Maybe we should look to HR McMaster: "Trump and other officials have repeatedly compromised our principles in pursuit of partisan advantage and personal gain."
What did John Bolton have to say? Oh yeah, "He is not fit to be President."
Well, last time around he still was going to need people's support for his next campaign. This time there won't be a next campaign. He will be all about doing himself good and screw anyone else. Will Putin's approval be good for him? Will a trade agreement be bad for him? Would he benefit from abundant cheap labour? Every decision, every policy will be all about what's good for him.In other words, no different than his last term ??!!

At this point, it's hard to see which is more dangerous for the country. Party politics or total solipsism ??Well, last time around he still was going to need people's support for his next campaign. This time there won't be a next campaign. He will be all about doing himself good and screw anyone else. Will Putin's approval be good for him? Will a trade agreement be bad for him? Actually, it is endorsing him that would be insane.Like 42 / 44 of his former cabinet refuse to endorse him. That’s insane.
And some still support this deeply flawed and unfit individual? What will it take? Why is this election even close? Why haven’t the Republicans dumped Trump and apologized to their fellow Republicans for allowing this sham to go on?Trump always picks the "top people". Maybe we should listen to them:
For example, Rex Tillerson, called him a "****ing moron".
