People parking in handicapped spot

Yep someone with a $60K truck was going to steal generic items. But that seems reasonable to you. Ok. Everyone I know with a $50K vehicle loves taking generic items.

This entire thread is full of ASSumptions.

Why in hell would you go beyond calling the police? Potentially putting yourself or your car at risk for a parking ticket - $80 to $180 in NY - is silly. Even if you call the police it isn't like they're going to arrive in 5 minutes to ticket the miscreant. Hell they might not come at all.

You wait until they leave the auto and enter the building then knife the sidewall of the tire.

Oh please do. Parking lots have cameras.

Please knife my tires so I can call the police and get a brand new set put on, just because you can’t stay in your lane.

Miscreant? Seriously?

There are other options .

Karma is a bitch.

I do, but if I forget it in another car, that doesn’t give you the right to come up to me and demand to know why I’m parked there. Mind ya ****ing business.
well I would never do such a thing. What do you think about people who have no disability but simply park in the space because they want to?

I can only hope my fellow sojourners do what is right but I don't have the right to force them.

I don’t agree with it, but you are not parking enforcement. If it bothers you that much, take a picture of the car parked in the slot and forward it to the police.

Even with my placard, I have to park very far away sometimes.

It does not bother me one hoot.

For who, the one who punctured the tires or the one who possibly parked there without their placard?
For the one who is so inconsiderate of people that depend on handicapped parking for their daily lives. Forgetting your placard is not an option. Temporary permits are abused and should not be allowed.

Are you the parking commissioner? If not, you don’t have a say.

If you turn me in, all I have to do is give my license number to the police and it’s done.

You wasted everybody’s time because you have a bug up your ass about something that doesn’t concern you at all.

But I tell you what - cut my ****ing tires because you’re pulling a tantrum. Guess who the police will talk to?

Bullshit. You have obviously never cared for a severely handicapped person.

My severely handicapped husband died exactly one year to the day before you joined. 10/18/19.

Once again, you are making assumptions about things you have no ****ing clue about.

Then you should not be so cavaliere about handicapped parking because I have been there too.

I’m not cavalier about anything. If handicap slots were filled, I would drop him off at the door and park and walk.

I’m not gonna walk around like Nancy ****ing Drew with a notebook and a pencil, trying to figure out if the people parked in handicap slots are truly handicapped, or just faking it.

And you are not only not parking enforcement, you’re also not the tone police, so you don’t get to tell me how to feel.

Now rush on out to the Walmart. I’m sure there are some handicap slots you need to police.

I learned the hard way not to do that. Too many asshats (or their kids) who just sort of push the car flying toward the corral and don't care if it bangs into the car parked on either side of it.

Holy shit. I never thought about that. I always parked next to the cart corrals because there was a 50% chance I wouldn’t get dinged.

Sob, so did I.

I've also learned not to park across from truck with a trailer hitch. The hitch will punch a hole in your bumper. That was a $2K mistake.

In any parking lot I park my car as far from everyone else as humanly possible. I've been known to walk ridiculous distances from my parking space to the store just so I can have a reasonable assurance that no asshat will park next to me, open their door and hit mine or let their shopping cart roll into my fender.
