People Fuss For More Gun Control While Ignoring Other Dangers

A dog has to be trained or abused to kill
True. However some dogs (herder breeds?) collies, border collies, australian shepherds, blue heelers, etc etc may try turning little kids from a street barking then growling then maybe a nip and finally a bite which is mistaken as being a vicious dog. Then trouble.
A gun does not
No the person does. A gun knows nothing.

You're right. Let's do alcohol instead. It kills close to 100,000, yet the people who claim to want to save lives with stricter laws don't have a peep to say about it.
How are you measuring this?

It happens in inner city gang wars. And let's not forget justified shooting both civilian and L.E.
It happens mostly per capita in Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana

What? That virtually never happens at all. But people committing murder by using guns is pretty rare.
Correctly put. Why with all the firearms we have and armed people legal and not we would be de-populated within the year.

We have massive gun deaths

We have events categorized as mass shootings, when 3 or 4 people are involved. Bastardized language.
Uh ....so? We have massive total gun deaths

Did you Look up "intentional injury exclusions"?
I'm aware of the concept. Do you have a point? Insurance companies don't cover deliberate acts of violence. They aren't going start.

This is why having a firearm in your home doesn't raise your rates.

DERP.

Proven: Knives can be more lethal than guns in certain situations. Shouldn't we ban all sharp objects while we're at it?
You can always count on a post to be absurd when the subject of prudent gun control comes up.

I've posted this point many times. Given that we're in agreement, this previous statement from you doesn't seem to make sense:

"TRue, and absolutely ridiculous if they are trying to lower their risk exposure."

It seems that they are managing risk just fine, and that by not excluding deliberate acts they would be raising the risk.

Still true.

Still true.
Are you claiming that it's true that by not charging more for insurance coverage for homeowners with guns they are passing up on a chance to reduce their risk?

Some people, particularly the bleeding heart liberals, are always fussing for more gun control while ignoring other stuff that can be just as dangerous if not more so. For instance, dangerous dog breeds. You don't hear much fussing about passing bans on dogs of certain breeds and/or dogs over a certain size but you do hear lots of fussing about passing gun bans and more gun control.

Something people need to realize, a gun does not have a mind of its own, a dog does. And here is an example of how certain dog breeds can be very dangerous.
Gun control isn't about danger it's about control.
