As much as I would like to the planners and the perpetrators of the attack on the capitol held responsible, it will be difficult to do since they are essentially, supported by the Republican leadership. But examining the growth and influence of "white rage" and the danger it presents to our democratic society is more important. and while "white rage" is an important part of the Republican base, it may be more difficult for them to stop an investigation into that than one into say, Trump's culpability. Trump is the symptom.

When you actually learn the difference between "a Democracy" and "a democracy" there might be something to your posts on whether or not the United States of America is a democratic country.
