New upheavals in the UK media. Murdoch is setting up the UK equivalent of Fox News (the actual Fox channel never took off.) and a RW radio channel. It hasn't gone well. Admittedly this is an op ed in a rival publication (owned by billionaire Russian friend of Boris Johnson and member of the House of Lords) Evgeny Lebedev., but even so the scathing review is deserved.
("Acorn Antiques" was a comedy spoof soap opera where the scenery wobbled and the actors forgot their lines while hamming to the camera.)
