Legions of Twitter users bashed National Enquirer chief David Pecker after Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos said Pecker tried to “blackmail” him to intervene in a Washington Post investigation of Enquirer parent company American Media Inc.
Bezos, in a blog post Thursday on Medium, accused intermediaries of Pecker, who is chairman of AMI, of threatening to publish 10 embarrassing photos of Bezos — including a “dick pic” selfie.
Bezos, who owns The Washington Post, attached an email allegedly from AMI content manager Dylan Howard. “In the interests of expediting the situation and with the Washington Post poised to publish unsubstantiated rumors [about] the National Enquirer ... I wanted to describe to you the photos obtained during our news gathering,” the letter stated. It concluded: “It would give no editor pleasure to send this email. I hope common sense would prevail — and quickly.”
Bezos declared that he “won’t participate in their well-known practice of blackmail, political favors, political attacks, and corruption. I prefer to stand up, roll this log over, and see what crawls out.”
This could end up being a problem for Trump as Pecker has been a long time friend and associate of Trump who recently agreed to testify regarding the information he had regarding Trump's escapades with the playmate. The thing is that when he agreed to testify he signed a 3-year agreement that he would "not do anything criminal". If he did, the agreement was null and void and everything he gave the government and that was covered by the agreement could be used against him.
As such, and possibly looking at a jail sentence, he could give the government a lot more dirt on Trump. Remember that this is the man that stated clearly that he had a lot of information on Trump from all the years they were friends and worked together.
The old adage about "Show me who your friends are and I will show you who you are" applies to Trump in a big way. With close friends such as Pecker, Cohen, and Stone and the picking people for his cabinet or as advisers such as Manafort, Flynn, Gates, Pruitt, Price, and Porter, it certainly seems that Trump is choosing people that have no regard for the law.
And this is our President?
With the company our president chooses, it's not looking good for him. Uh oh, am I now a trump hater?

Dang, another failure in my life. Oh well, on to the next one.
Civilized people do not deal in guilty by association.
Did you learn that lesson when Obama attended Rev. Wright's church?

The Donald’s life speaks for itself without association to anyone else.
What an awesome life it has been.
One thing is crystal clear this morning - Pecker and Trump picked on the wrong man.
If this story is true as reported, who puts this type of threat in writing?

Late last year, David Pecker was involved in a deal with the Mueller investigation. How stupid/arrogant do these people need to be?
Oh, yeah, it’s also a good idea to pick a scrap with the world’s wealthiest man who also owns a nationally read newspaper.

Expect Twitter to go “radio-silent.”
Nope he's watching Fox News.

I am sorry to disagree but choosing friends that are criminals or lean toward criminal behavior and disregard for the law means that you support such behavior. For a President that is supposed to uphold the law, this is guilt by association.

It shows their disdain doesn't it? It shows just how close they are in this together and how this is very standard operating procedure. Bezos likely himself doesn't know the political implications of what he just revealed to the world. Otherwise if he was politically in tuned I would assume he would have sent information over to Mueller and/or his lawyers before releasing it to the public. Given that this is standard operating procedure in Trump Org, Trump Tower, and would it not make one realize that:
1. This is standard operating procedure in Trump WH and Trump supporters on the TV.
2. We now can assume that the public figures and politicians who flip to the Trump side are likely being blackmailed by AMI with signed NDAs.
3. Bombshell stories that were being investigated by independent reporters were threatened by AMI to stop their investigations and some complied.
4. Trump likely used either a Israeli or Saudi government entity to obtain Bezos text messages.
I cannot stress this enough. The implications of what Bezos did is a HUGE deal and those four points are JUST the tip of the iceberg in regards to the domestic and foreign implications of the revelations made Bezos. Dare I say this is the nail in the coffin? I'm wary b/c normal everyday people and politicians don't seem to have the stomach to follow all the dirt. #moretocome.

Apparently it's a common tactic for trump's pecker buddy.
Your post is incoherent.
I did not expect any other response from you, given your track record of misunderstanding just about everything that has to do with Trump. You are a true sect member. All bought and sealed.
