Funny, but Trump nation seems to be dead silent this time.

You make it sound ass if the practice of buying stories and holding them is illegal and not done everyday by media. Also NDA's are not illegal, nor is suppressing negative political stories. If they were CNN and MSNBC would be on trial for suppressing the Hunter Laptop stories, as would the FBI.

Prosecution isn't arguing any of that.

They are explaining Pecker's business background and what he was capable of services/supplying to Trump & Cohen.

If you have evidence of CNN/MSNBC actively coordinating with the Biden campaign to bury stories, meeting up with Biden on a weekly basis, then Biden cooking his books to hide his payments to CNN/MSNBC, then please let us know.

There's a reason super PACs can't coordinate with campaigns.

1. Did Trump coordinate with Pecker?
2. Why would he choose to coordinate with Pecker? What does Pecker offer?

That's the context.

But you knew that.

Buying stories and getting paid to catch and hold stories are NOT acceptable practices in journalism. If they are done “every day” as you claim, you’d be able to back up that claim.
But if you get your “news” from tabloids, you might not have known that.

True. It still amazes me they find nothing wrong with an ultra-rich guy paying off people so he'd do better in an election and then they find nothing hypocritical about Trump complaining about "election interference". What a joke.

As usual, you only touch on part of the story. Do you agree or not that it's stupid to argue that Trump is a victim of election interference?

They want to "drain the swamp" by shrugging their shoulders at rich billionaires using media to bury negative stories.

I didn't see anything in the OP about legality.

Sort of like NPR ,Twitter etc. ignoring stories that would have been helpful to Trump in 2020. Remember Hunter's laptop?

NPR's own journalist just admitted they buried the story about Hunter's laptop.

A "Sleasy Arrangement" may not be outside the law. Just because you don't agree with the action doesn't make it illegal. Such as catch and kill, or NDA's. Even the court seals records in some court cases for a variety of reasons, and that's within the law.

I doubt DJT is going to jail. But, in Hillary's case the evidence was clear, she destroyed evidence under subpoena and she destroyed government communication devices and email all under subpoena. Even James Comey said so. He just made a determination that no prosecutor would pursue the case. He didn't say it wasn't illegal, or that she didn't do it. He took it upon himself to say nobody would do it. That determination was outside his legal or official power at Director of FBI.

There was no case against Hillary, just get over it and move on.

Pecker's testimony also shows that he didn't make any deals with Trump. His deal was with Cohen.

This is going to make it harder to establish any credibility when Bragg finally puts Cohen on the stand.

Ummmm...NPR, Twitter, etc. Were they running for an election? Oh, that's right. Nope. Hopefully you get familiar with all the charges. I bet Trumplethinskin is doing just that (for the first time). It might be why he is NOT looking good and decided to NOT campaign yesterday when he was free to do so.

The person who should be on trial here is David Pecker. Nobody has explained how buying exclusive rights to stories that would be a PR nightmare for the subject(s) and contacting the subject(s) to say you’ll print them if they don’t pay you thousands of dollars isn’t blackmail.

That's of course is you don't acknowledge ALL the testimony that Trump was involved in all of this and was well aware. You're trying to claim that Trump had no knowledge of this....that it was all orchestrated by Cohen? LOL. Besides....you'll have plenty more witnesses to testify that Trump was very much involved in the conspiracy. Once you accept that Trump is done, life will look better for you.

Ummmm...hopefully you know that he worked with the FBI on a plea deal to avoid prosecution. Smart move by Pecker.

If paying the blackmail demand is a crime then there won’t be anyone left in the entertainment industry.

Ok. What this has to do with Trump is beyond me. But you can divert to other topics if you think that would help him while he is at trial.

And if there is an indictment handed down through the courts on that very subject involving Biden and the direct coordination with him, I'm fine with it. I actually do believe no one is above the law. But again....how does this help Trump who is at trial now?
