Parnas's lawyer says Parnas has more tapes he made of Trump and that he released the one of the ambassador as it wat the most relevant. I wonder if Parnas will leak them a few at a time to hurt Trump like Trump had done with the hacks from the DNC. It is going to stay interesting for a while, even after the GOP controlled Senate frees Trump. Since once Trump is freed from the imprachment he will feel he can do anything, he might have his DOJ take the tapes from Parnas and have them hidden from the public. I could see Trump doing that and Barr would make sure it would happen.

If the one already released is "the most relevant", then whatever else he has will be useless...except, of course, as something for the media to spin and hyperbole over. Essentially, all of his recordings are akin to all of the nonsense the media has released over the last five years.

But think about it...the nonsense in 2015-2016 did nothing to prevent Trump from getting elected. What makes these idiots think this new nonsense will prevent him from getting elected this year?

I am surprised the Parnas's lawyer admits to Parnas being a spy and is apparently illegally gathered national security secrets made and kept criminally. Barr should subpoena all tapes Parnas has via a grand jury as an espionage investigation.
 

That's true I guess. We already knew that Trump lies like the rest of us talk, and so most people knew already that he lied about Parnas, that he's an incompetent and so listens to two bit thugs on foreign policy but know how to stroke Trump's ego versus someone qualified, and that the Rudy team took out Yovanovitch based on lies. All that was in the record, already, and the Trump lemmings just don't care about any of it.

I’m not an attorney, but I don’t see how the Justice Department could justify such a move.

He wasn't a "spy" - he was a two bit con man Trump tasked to do U.S. foreign policy, supervised by his personal attorney, and who could have guessed a two bit con man isn't trustworthy? Gosh, it's almost like the U.S. should have a department of professional people, headed up by a leader, confirmed by the Senate, and ambassadors, confirmed by the Senate, to represent the U.S. overseas in foreign policy matters!!
 
you mean the tape he made of Trump wanting to fire the amassador... wow, who cares? Trump has every right to fire an ambassador, especially one who intends to undermine his policy.

the only thing Parnas is confessing further possible criminal activity. I believe it is illegal to record others without their knowledge in DC.
