Except the 60 Minutes suit didn't even make it through to get a summary judgement, the FOX/Dominion case had in fact went to court once already, and FOX lost there with a summary judgement that they'd have to go to a bigger trial. The 60 Minutes suit didn't get to that. They simply settled without any admission of lies nor anyone besides Trump and MAGA (no judge, unlike with the FOX/Dominion suit) claiming that they did anything wrong. So does settling out of court like 60 minutes argument apply to Fox News? Or is it just a bunch of bunk?

Paramount settles Trump lawsuit over Kamala Harris interview on '60 Minutes' for $16 million
It was the latest concession by a media company to a president who has targeted outlets over what he describes as false or misleading coverage.
The suit Trump brought against Paramount was looking to be completely meritless if it had gone to court. There is no evidence that Trump would have won that suit. That is not the same or similar to the FOX/Dominion suit, where 1 judge had already stated that FOX clearly lied about Dominion and that they had to go to trial via a summary judgement.
Also, look at the difference in the filed amount for damages and agreed to amounts for each case.
Dominion v FOX - $1.6B filed for, they settled for $787.5M
Trump v Paramount - $2B and then $10B filed for, they are going to pay his attorney and court fees and give the rest of a $16M settlement to his presidential library
