I used a book titled "How the Catholic Church built Western Civilization" as reference to prove that the Catholic Church gave birth to modern day science, and I used a book titled "The Victory of Reason" in which to show how contemporary thought about religion and economics has helped to cement the Christian culture the West enjoys today. So don't feel bad that you're losing steam here, you can still rely on your useless 'Village Idiot' theme when all else fails. LOL!
