Outrage as France become first country in world to ban pro-Palestine demos[W:103,163]

Re: Outrage as France become first country in world to ban pro-Palestine demos[W:103,

I don't know what should be done.

What I do know is that what has been done is not working. America must demand that for its dollars in aid a new and revolutionary approach be taken, or the conflict will simply continue for another 50 years and more. Pointing fingers at one side or another only grows the misery of those on both sides who genuine want peace, and gives aid and comfort to those in each camp who love the life of violence they inflict on the innocents of the other side. In a way, an evil one at that, they are part of the same cabal, though they claim to represent opposing ideologies. They are kindred in their love of the ritual of killing. The conflict is their comfort zone, and the world stage the setting for their craft.

Empowering the Palestinians with their own state, accountable to international law, letting them grow economically without encroachment on their lands and not fencing them in like animals would be one step to helping them see that their lives are meaningful and not to be given up lightly to extremist causes.

The Palestinians are behind a wall because otherwise they would be killing Israelis. For many years the Palestinians were allowed to come and go from Israel at will. Many of them used this freedom to trade and do business, but others among them used it to terrorize Israelis, bombing city buses and the like. When Palestinian travel was restricted and the wall was raised Israeli casualties plummeted. And now we get word that Hamas dug tunnels under the wall and planned to strike into Israel with a massive terrorist attack.

It seems to me that your proposal for the Palestinians becomes possible only after they expel Hamas and other terrorists from their ranks. As it is, Hamas is their government.

Outlawing a specific protest!? This is ridiculous!

Re: Outrage as France become first country in world to ban pro-Palestine demos[W:103,

I accept your admission of your dishonesty.

There has been no admission of any sort. Sadly, I find that posters quick to imagine victory of some sort in this forum have too little experience of it in real life.:peace

No "admission" needed- your very own hypocrisy in the same thread stands as evidence. Sadly, I find that some posters think that simply repeatedly denying their failings exposes a probable similar experience in real life. You're like another poster who refused to recognise his whole argument in another discussion was based on a fallacy in thinking and he just carried on refusing to admit.

Just as you now refuse to recognise the double standard in your position in this thread. I'm done here.
