Went to Bora Bora back in April. Had a great time. Perfect weather, beautiful sunsets, and good food. Here's some photos (no filters, no edits, yadaa yadaa)

Thought I'd share.

Nice. I was on Diego Garcia late 70’s. We lived in shacks. Indian Ocean bliss. Looks like you had fun. 👍

Thanks for sharing

We are looking at sailing vessel cruise to the Galapagos but have also considered Bora Bora (and other locales). What were your thoughts...is April the right time of the year? Reasonably priced?

Was it just not very crowded? I would love that.

A cruise? I couldnt tell ya. However, April is the end of the rainy season down there. It's a good time to go. We had maybe 4-5 hrs of rain in just one day there. Other than that it was pretty dry Price? It all depends on the accommodations that you pick. You can get reasonable package at costco travel. For the 3 of us, we spent 6-7K (i think) for all air(LAX), and 6nights in the overwater bungalow. This does not included food which is wayyy the f overpriced. We did, however get a daily American breakfast which was included.

Very Nice but then again, I live in Miami and often go on close by trips to the other Caribbean countries close by (like Jamaica) and seeing these types of pictures is almost an every day kind of thing here.

Nonetheless, I am happy you enjoyed the trip.
