Oregon Measure 119 permanently enjoined, would have unlawfully required cannabis employers to remain neutral towards unions

(y) I think it's wild that "blue" Oregon has counties that want to merge with deep red Idaho counties, who don't want them here...like I said, I have yet to see anything "deep red" here in SW Idaho. I have no clue about the northern counties that support the magat debacle.....
Those eastern and southern Oregon counties have zero in common with with the seat of govt in Salem or any city of any size to the west or north. They are cattle ranchers, grain and hemp farmers and with a few Mayberry/Petticoat Junction townships miles and miles and miles apart from anything resembling civilization. They loath and despise their city folk cousins and detest government. Perfect environment for a MAGA infestation.

Thanks for the info, neighbor!!!!! It just blew my mind to realize I live next door to a "blue" state! I've got a lot to learn about the northwest, thanks for helping!!!!

Portland is not really part of Oregon. It's just this moldy bit stuck on the end.

Oregon as a whole is a collection of right wing bumpkins.
So, this begs the question: Have you ever been in Oregon? You ain't talking about the Oregon most of us familiar with the state know.

It's not that they have anything in common, it's that they have very little representation in the Oregon legislature. The majority of the Oregon legislature is made up of repersentives north of Eugene. A lot of people in Oregon have never been east of the Cascades and have no idea of just how different it is from the west side of the Cascades. The largest town on the east side is Bend, and it's trying very hard to become Central Oregon's Portland both in politics and liberals. What really pisses off the farmers and ranchers is when the State tries to enact regulations based on their liberal point of view that hinder these ranches that have been in operation for over a hundred years. You might try going to Southeast Oregon and spending a few days, it just might open your eyes to the struggle these rancher encounter. The State of Oregon treats them like the "red headed stepchild". So, no, they don't detest the State government, they just want a fair relatioship and for the State to stop trying to hamstring them.
