This is prolly the best Open Carry video I have seen to date. The people with the guns were polite even when talking to the two sets of cops that they talked to. Answering peoples questions when they asked. And best part of all I think is it shows that people are starting to get used to seeing people walking around open carrying. Instead of calling the cops instantly they had lots of people just asking questions instead. Even had one person that had never seen a gun before admit that they weren't scared at seeing several armed people in front of her house and another woman that looked like she was a nurse who was a felon who also gave an example of why it is good to be armed for self defense.

I want to do this.

So why weren't there any bullets whizzing by and just bodies piling up everywhere?

What's stopping you?

Do you plan on wearing one on each hip in quick-draw holsters?

quick draw holsters for open carry are not a good idea since in heavy pedestrian traffic, a mope can grab your gun. The best solution are "Level III" retention holsters that make it very hard for someone other than the guy carrying the weapon to snatch it

California

Nah, I plan on dressing up like an 80s futurism cowboy with bandoleers

Solution leave California. As soon as my enlistment was done with the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton. I drove about 12 hours straight until I got out of that state.

Not easy to leave friends and family.

Take 'em with you.

I'm just kidding of course. As much as I hate the way California does things, if my family was there I would find it hard to leave too. Priorities, man. You got 'em.
