Ahh the Blaze, there's a trustworthy source, lol.

Democrats challenge Ohio electoral votes. Move delays official certification of presidential election. Thursday, January 6, 2005.

House Democrats fail to muster support to challenge Trump’s Electoral College win. 01/06/2017

The article correctly points out that Democrats in at least two prior elections did exactly what Republican's are doing now. In the 2005 incident a Democrat Senator joined and the Congress had to meet in joint session to rule on the Ohio votes. The attempt in 2017 failed because no Democrat Senator joined the complaint.

By this logic, I’m sure you’ll have no problem with Vice President Harris picking 2024’s winner. After all, the notion was brought up by Senator Hawley, so now Democrats can make it a reality in four years, right?

No group of politicians in modern history have done what the 2020 House and Senate GOP is doing. Pure disingenuousness to suggest otherwise.

And, might I add, our bar for proof is simply “widespread allegations.” Doesn’t matter what states certify, doesn’t matter what courts rule, if someone says it happened, we must act. We must.

That letter was really something. “There was voter fraud, evidenced by the fact that we said there was voter fraud many, many times.“

I think what galls me more is far simpler: Put me aside, the angry blah blah lefty blah blah partisan blah blah. What ****ing proof have they offered to non partisans that this shit happened? What is the threshold? 1-60 in court; state recounts and ballot sig matches; nothing has changed the outcome of Biden winning in a landslide. I’m not even talking about the right wing trolls who are just blaring BIDEN DIDN’T WIN DERP to own a lib. I’m talking about the supposed adults in the room.

Galling.

PS: How come Hawley couldn’t even show up to a phone call with his colleagues to explain himself? Why are all these guys such massive cowards on top of everything else?

Oops, turns out dems did the same thing in the last 3 republican wins. They opposed the electoral result. And they got praised for it by fellow dems. Oh but now they are traitors for doing it and can't be forgiven lol.
We're there calls for civil uprisings in D.C. at that time or cockamany "theories" that Pence can just ignore the electoral college? That makes this whole thing quite different this time around.

Trump has been the single most appallingly unprofessional, immature, narcissistic, and divisive president ever. Why anyone expects anything different leading up to the inauguration is beyond me.

Interesting. I didn't know that. I admit I got caught up with the outrage, shame on me.
