One thing we’ve learned in these past few years it’s to believe the opposite of what experts say

“Is ‘rainbow fentanyl’ a threat to your kids this Halloween? Experts say no,” NPR assures us.

The media has given up trying to get people to trust it and now asks it to trust its handpicked experts. And those experts say the same exact things that the media says. Every subject is now tackled by experts.

Do you think that a Senate candidate who can barely grasp a sentence is worrisome? “Fetterman’s use of captions is common in stroke recovery, experts say,” the Washington Post wheedles.

The main stream media (MSM) is a propaganda tool for the Democrats and they hate President Trump.

Like when the experts thought Putin would roll over Ukraine, then it turned out he is an incompetent leader with an incompetent, outdated military.

They figured even a mentally challenged 6 year old could roll thousands of tanks 100 miles to Kyiv. Then Putin the moron proved them wrong.

I bet you listen to "experts" all the time.

After all, it would only be common sense to consult someone who has studied extensively on a particular subject, right?

FrontPage Magazine - Questionable - Extreme Right Bias - hate Group

QUESTIONABLE SOURCE

A questionable source exhibits one or more of the following: extreme bias, consistent promotion of propaganda/conspiracies, poor or no sourcing to credible information, a complete lack of transparency, and/or is fake news. Fake News is the deliberate attempt to publish hoaxes and/or disinformation for profit or influence (Learn More). Sources listed in the Questionable Category may be very untrustworthy and should be fact-checked on a per-article basis. Please note sources on this list are not considered fake news unless specifically written in the reasoning section for that source. See all Questionable sources.
  • Overall, we rate FrontPage Magazine a Questionable source based on Extreme Right Bias, the promotion of conspiracy theories regarding Islam, as well as propaganda that only reports negatively on Islam. This source has also failed numerous fact checks by IFCN fact-checkers.

Populism makes people stupid.

This thread opener is a prime example.

I learned the first time I ever read one of your posts, to assume the exact opposite.

All part of the anti-science of the extreme right.

You see, to be followed this band of criminals need you afraid. Afraid of everything, especially nasty microscopic computer chips in vaccines!

If they can make you fear your own doctor, they own your mind.

Next will come researchers, teachers, anyone of authority who would know bullshit.

Your post, by the way, establishes the second part of the action, you now believe anything from 'the media' to be part of a giant intra-galaxy iunvuisuiblke threat to decent decent god-loving Americans

Experts say that falling off sheer cliffs can be dangerous to your health.

Mostly, they trust Trump's gut, which is kind of gross.

I've been hearing about these "free drugs" in Halloween candy for my entire life.

Can someone please let me know where these houses that hand out the drugs are? I've yet to see them.
Then you might remember the fear of razor blades in candy too...

Then there was the satanic fear of Halloween. Some folks still carry that torch.

The status of the entire Hocus Pocus 'franchise' also baffles me. Some people REALLY love that movie and were SO excited for the sequel.

Just how far will the leftist media go to protect President Joe Biden? If the past couple of weeks are any indication, there is no limit. Take the incident in late September where Biden repeatedly called out for a dead congresswoman to come forward.

Most cognizant Americans saw this for what it was: Another worrisome sign that Biden’s mental acuity is rapidly declining. For the press, however, it was an opportunity to praise the 79-year-old. Jill Lawrence, a former commentary editor at USA Today, wrote that “there’s another way to look at this.” Namely, she said, it shows “how generous and professional Biden is.”

Feel free to feel terrified.

Tell me how many tests have been performed to see if this is true? Tee hee. It's just other experts telling you not to believe experts.

If your car isn't running, do you call a politician or an 'expert' in the field. I bet you call that old mechanic like the rest of us!!!

They want to make everyone afraid. Close to panic. You are much more maleable in that sate and inclined to believe bullshit when you are afraid. They've owned you at least. You came not to believe in "experts" based on expert opinion
....And...you bought the lie about media!

I have access to some ocean beach property I'll sell you for pennies. It will take a bit for the temperature to rise enough, but oceanfront on the Arctic Ocean is going to be big! Get in now or you will lose out!

You do find the most mysterious web sites for your "infotainment"

The experts are far more reliable than "frontpagemag.com."

Here is the issue with you conspiracy theorists: You focus too much on the 1% of the time when experts get things wrong and not enough on the 99% of the time when they get things right, and you ignore the 99% of the time when conspiracy theorists get things wrong in order to focus on the 1% of the time when they happen to guess right.

This is a statistical error in judging probability and will prevent you from adequately understanding how the world works.

I am gonna try not to picture that............
Oh yes. The razor blades in candy.

All these horror stories about what big bad monsters are hiding in candy to harm children...and I've never heard of even ONE instance.

Either can I. And that's 70 years!

The closest was a case of toothpicks. The householder decided to dress up some treats and fashioned candy at either end of a toothpick.

One stupid kid tried to eat the confections as one including the toothpick and cut his lip.

His name was Jules...for some reason I remember that.

What was different 66 years ago is that no one panicked. Jules came to school the next morning with stitches in his lip............he ruled cool for about a week, then Robbie Havers had his hand run over by a car...then he was king cool.

My parents *gasp* never checked my candy.

And *gasp* I have to admit, I don't pay much attention to my son's either. I do, though, make sure to charge the appropriate "Mom Tax" (ie. I get to steal anything I want from his stash as payment for taking him out and making sure he doesn't get hit by a car, etc. while Trick or Treating)

If I remember correctly, the data didn't back any of that stuff either.

You must be my age.

I was just about to post the same thing when I ready our post.

Did you have the one about Ex-lax wrapped up like chocolate?
Yep, but the concern was more about razor blades and needles in chocolates. I never heard of anyone finding either of those in candy, but it was enough to spook parents and ruin Halloween for kids.
