"One of the most legislatively successful presidents of the modern era"

And all the puppet had to do was whatever his puppet masters told him to do.

Well the new bill includes billions to the IRS, yeah the tax collectors to hire 87,000 new workers. What for? To go over your tax returns to see where you didn't file correctly. Wait, Joe said nobody earning $400,000 or less will pay a dime in new taxes. Joe promised. Typical deceptive political double speak. If you didn't file correctly and now have to pay more that's not a new tax. Yeah, but it's more taxes and a lot more dimes.

On what planet is cheating on your taxes and getting caught a tax increase?

This latest bill will not reduce inflation, it will not reduce the deficit, it will have no measurable impact on global warming ( or climate change).
These 3 predictions you can take to the bank!

They are not "advisors". They are his masters. They are the people who make the decisions.

(And they are not all always on the same sheet of music.)
Conservatives are ****ing wack jobs. Conspiratorial, wack jobs.

I do not get it.

So who are these masters, specifically?
The 90% of the Biden administration who came from the Obama administration.

Heck, Obama told us that.

And all the puppet had to do was whatever his puppet masters told him to do.

But I don't think anyone should be passing out any congratulations. The American people are greatly suffering from all that legislation...and the suffering won't be ending any time soon.
So you admit the dems are doing a good job and the chances of the R's taking the house or senate are slim. Four more years of house control six more years as prez and another six for the dem senate. You'll be suffering for a while.

The people in the house and senate are the president's masters?

Lots of money spent by this administration/Congress.

You should probably take a remedial course in reading comprehension if that's what you get out of my comment.

You are dismissed.

I already took your course, sounds just like one of your comments doesn't it? Tell me you haven't done exactly this to others.

Adviser. Never advisor. Says the AP Style Manual.

AP, as in Associated Press is not a source of correct English Language usage. Do you say "tailer" or "tailor?

To me who has used the English language as a career, when anyone pronounces "tailer" I assume they are uneducated.

BTW, AP also uses the word careen when describing an accident

When what they mean is:

Carom

To strike against an rebound.

And they need an education on what "presently" means....and it does not mean "now", it

As with your prediction Trump would easily win a 2nd term?

I do not proclaim to know that these measures will have the desired effect as each are long, or longer term issues.

What I do know is we have a president and congress doing their best to address key issues. As opposed to constant self promotion and gratification and proclamations to appease the base but do nothing in reality for the country.

Great job Joe!

This certainly argues for the benefit of having puppet masters, whoever they may be.

You just described the Trum administration.

People are saying Biden's flurry of landmark legislative successes is among the most impressive stretches in the past century. I'm hearing these investments in American infrastructure, manufacturing, innovation, health care, energy, the environment, veterans and seniors, and policy changes like Medicare prescription drug negotiation and a minimum corporate tax rate are a BFD.

Biden Is on a Roll That Any President Would Relish. Is It a Turning Point?
Those early aspirations to being another Franklin D. Roosevelt and Lyndon B. Johnson, the ones that felt like so much hubris in the past few months, are being heard again in the halls of the West Wing and the Capitol. White House aides argue that the string of congressional victories — capped by the package of climate, health and tax provisions that finally cleared the Senate over the weekend — compares favorably to the two-year legislative record of most any other modern president, even perhaps F.D.R. and L.B.J.
The bill passed by the Senate on Sunday is itself a merger of multiple priorities, any one of which would typically be a significant legislative victory, and several of which had eluded Democrats for many years: the largest U.S. investment in history in climate and energy initiatives to fight global warming, curbs on the cost of prescription drugs for older Americans, the extension of health care subsidies and a minimum 15 percent tax on corporations that have paid little or nothing.

Hows are these Bidens landmark legislative successes? Pelosi and Schumer are doing all the heavy lifting. Biden isnt doing anything.

If you've come to argue that Pelosi is one of the most effective Speakers in American history, I'm with you. Schumer's success, however, has frankly surprised me.

I know you are just here to cheerlead for Biden, but he hasnt done a thing to get anything through congress.

ABC reports, "The U.S. hiring saw a dramatic increase in July, as the economy added 528,000 jobs and the unemployment rate fell to a historic 3.5%. The 528,000 jobs added in July marks a significant uptick from 372,000 jobs added in June. Moreover, the figures signals an improvement from the already-robust hiring sustained over the first half of 2022, during which the economy added an average of 461,000 jobs each month.
ABC reports, "Americans maintain a sour view on the state of the economy and are pessimistic about its future course, with President Joe Biden’s approval rating across a range of issue areas continuing to suffer, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos poll. More than two-thirds (69%) of Americans think the nation’s economy is getting worse.
Grassroots Democrats play a major role in these polls, and they are working hard to ensure that Republicans win control of Congress in November. It seems readily apparent that they think Republicans can do a better job with the economy.

So, is it true that Republicans do a better job with the economy?

10 of the last 11 recessions started under Republican presidents. Every Republican president since Benjamin Harrison, who served from 1889 to 1893, had a recession in their first term in office. Below is the start date of recessions; the following list includes the president in office at that time and their party:

1.) February 2008 (Bush 43 / R) House - D / Senate - D

2.) December 2007 (Bush 43 / R) House - D / Senate - D

3.) March 2001 (Bush 43 / R) House - R / Senate - R

4.) July 1990 (Bush 41 / R) House - D / Senate - D

5.) July 1981 (Reagan / R) House - D / Senate - D

6.) January 1980 (Carter / D) House - D / Senate - D

7.) November 1973 (Nixon / R) House - D / Senate - D

8.) December 1969 (Nixon / R) House - D / Senate - D

9.) April 1960 (Eisenhower / R) House - D / Senate - D

10.) August 1957 (Eisenhower / R) House - D / Senate - D

11.) July 1953 (Eisenhower / R) House - R / Senate - R

12.) November 1948 (Truman / D) House - R / Senate - R

The economy was in recession for 49 quarters from 1949-2013; 8 of these quarters were under Democrats, with 41 under Republicans.

The economic history was provided here, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._...mocratic_and_Republican_presidents#Recessions

Our latest recession took place under the Republican administration of Donald Trump in 2020. Recovery took place under the Democratic Biden administration. We currently have full employment and robust spending by American consumers, which is the main driver of our economy.

Americans' main gripe is the economy. Why in the world are Republicans expected to win control of Congress in November? Sheer ignorance?

So who are these masters, specifically?
Generally speaking they are the radical left progressives that he has to cater to because they can't pass sh-- without those votes. The old fool promised to be the most progressive President in history and so he has to bootlick the likes of AOC, Bernie, Liz Warren, Cori Bush, Ilhan Omar, Rhasida Tlaib, Jayapal, Pressley, and a few others that he has to have their vote or they hold it up.

And all the puppet had to do was whatever his puppet masters told him to do.

Mycroft is trying out a new meme, its kinda sad.

But it is hilarious!
