What it means is that the law is being supported by those that know the law. The Supreme Court still leans Conservative but they are not going to turn into lemmings following Trump's dictatorial desires.
 
Personally if I were trump I would jam this decision so far up the courts ass that they would not be able to sit on the bench for the rest of their terms.
Trump should pass an EO that gives all gun owners amnesty to all state and federal restrictions. Let roberts figure out how to rule against that without dismantling his own argument in the daca ruling

vs the judges following the constitution.

judges do not have the power to write or re-write law.
this is in the constitution.

the only branch that has the capability to do that is the legislature.
yet in these cases that is exactly what the SCOTUS did.

Exactly, if the law is broken judges dont get to fix them. Their job is to reject the law and its the legislature's job to rewrite it correctly.

There is something glorious about Republican presidents trying to stack the court and then those same judges end up ruling against the loony ideas of Republicans.

So its your opinion that if a law is broken, the court shouldnt rule that it shouldnt be in effect? Really? Youre gonna run with that?

They didnt rewrite anything. They did exactly what you unwittingly implied they should. If Congress wants some version of that law on the books, they now need to go back and write one that passes muster. Its not like the justices wrote a new law or something....

The judges job is to rule if a law is constitutional or not constitutional.

ON the title 7 issue they re-wrote the law. which is unconstitutional they don't have the power.

on the DACA ruling they unconstitutionally interfered in a constitutional executive action.

and roberts is a pathetic disaster.

He is about as bad as the warren court.

when those decisions are based on unconstitutional power grabs by the court everyone should be upset.

Don't think for a minute that the SCOTUS doesn't watch current affairs and events. Is it possible that they're finally getting fed up with a moronic traitorous president? Those judges (all of them) may just end up being who save this country.
