One more impeachable offense by Trump

Add this one to the list of impeachable offenses. During the Mueller questioning, Congresswoman Val Demings had her five minutes to question Robert Mueller.

This is how her questioning went;

Val Demings: "Mr. Mueller, were the presidents written answers submitted under oath?"

Mueller: "yes"

Val Demings: "Isn't it fair to say that the president's written answers were not only inadequate and incomplete because he didn't answer many of your questions, but where he did, the answers show that he wasn't always being truthful?"

Mueller: "I would say, generally"

Val Demings: "Did he answer any of your follow up questions?" Mueller: "no"

Trump refused to do a sit down for a full year and would only agree to answer written questions and only then he'd only answer a specific number of questions and over 30 times Trump answered "I don't remember" or "I don't recall"

Hillary Clinton used variations of 'I don't recall' 21 out of 25 times when answering questions about private email server in court filing

HumblePi, I used to be mad at liberals, progressives and all the other idiots on the left for their behaviour and actions since Trump got elected, but now the desperation of you lot has become more than hilarious.

At least once a month we got a "smoking gun" by you lot, a "This is it!", a "Trump is finished!"
Then, finally, Mueller's report came out. No collusion/conspiracy with Russia.

However, Mueller inserted that Trump is not exonerated by him - except, Trump doesn't need to be exonerated by Mueller.

Now you (collective) are trying to use obstruction as another form of "smoking gun". However, the "obstruction" defined by Mueller are nothing but BS ... and the dems know it.

As to your perjury accusation, it's not even a smoking gun but rather the last gasp of a drowning man.

That's not true at all. I give facts and I never dramatize them. In your mind you might think I am, but I am not. Robert Mueller clearly stated that Trump lied in his written answers.

Stating you do not remember something when in fact you do, is purjury, and a felony.

How many times has Trump bragged about his memory? It seems he forgets when it serves his agenda.

Trump is acting like countless other politicians and conveniently forgetting information is a plausible conclusion. However the fight to prove he actually remembers something is not a winnable one. Politicians on both sides of the aisle have been given too many free passes on the "I can't remember" excuse for it to be taken seriously now.

Would you have the balls to be subpoenaed by the FBI to be questioned and lie to them? Would you? What do you think that means? It means you just committed perjury and THAT IS A CRIME!

What we know is you know that lying on the forum isn't a crime or prohibited.

No he didn't. Your message is the lie.

No he didn't. Your message is the lie.

If you're saying my message is a lie, you're calling me a liar. Are you?

Let me remind you what the original post was.

Val Demings: "Isn't it fair to say that the president's written answers were not only inadequate and incomplete because he didn't answer many of your questions, but where he did, the answers show that he wasn't always being truthful?"

Mueller: "I would say, generally"

You DO know the definition of the word "generally", do you not? If you don't then I suggest you google it.

He committed perjury, the end.

Every bill for impeachment gets a vote, and there can be many bills, multiple bills at any point in time presented in the House and every time a new one comes up the numbers grow in favor of impeachment. They will get there, have no doubt about it. Once these members of Congress return from their six week vacation, there will no doubt be a majority in the House to vote to impeach. They're having Town Halls with constituents and people will tell them what they want.

Do you know how many bills have been passed unanimously in the House that Mitch McConnell has refused to take to the Senate for discussion. Take a guess...

ALL OF THEM and there have been many. The most recent was TODAY, when two separate bills passed by the House intended to inhibit Russian interference and to protect our free elections was REJECTED by McConnell and he flatly refused to have any discussion in the Senate about either one.

TRAITOR!

You're wandering all over left field and far haven't come close to fielding a ground ball. Russia, McConnell, have nothing to with impeachment.

So now it's when we get back from vacay? You just wait.

The vote on the Green bill was 332-95. A lot are going to have to turn. I'm not aware of any other impeachment bills in the pipeline.

FYI, the last impeachment bill vote was 2017. That one went down 364 - 58. So no the numbers are not growing. I'm not aware of any other actual votes, but I didn't look very hard.

Accusing another member of being a liar is against forum rules, and you should know that.

I never said that I never said "you just wait". What I said, to be clear since you didn't seem to understand the first time. The Congress members will be having Town Hall meetings with their constituents and they will want impeachment to move forward. Being representative of their constituents they will return from their vacation and I'm certain there will be more democratic congressmen that will vote for an impeachment inquiry.

Not only that, Hillary's made her SoS career out of stalling and stonewalling legitimate congressional oversight requests for documentation, probably all stashed away on her illegal email server. The stalling and stonewalling was so bad a federal judge had to threaten her and her lawyers with contempt in order to get her to produce that which was legitimately requested.

Don't recall any sort of similar outrage and accusations of perjury back then.

If it weren't for double standards, liberals, progressives and Democrats would have no standards at all.

True. That was my own editorial addition.

Are you aware of any Congressmen having town hall meetings while on vacation? I haven't gotten any notice, and I'm on most lists. If they do, I doubt they'll come away with the impression you seem to believe. People are tired of impeachment talk that goes nowhere.

The vote was 332 - 95. You've got a long way to go.

Sad, truly sad, though I can't find fault with your comment. But, the difference here with this particular politician is that he has bragged his memory is superior.

On that basis, I find it more justifiable to hold him in contempt than I would for others, who haven't bragged.

Impeach him already.

New baseless call for impeachment less than 12 hours after Mueller testified...

Impressive.

Is having a bad memory the impeachable offense?
Or is it more about holding Trump to a different standard with different punishments for doing what others have previously done?

Bad memory? Trump has a very good memory when it suits him, but something awkward comes along and he conveniently develops amnesia.

that isn't impeachable.
next.

Bill Clinton testified under oath on live tv. Hillary Clinton testified in front of congress at least twice, once for 11 hours prior to the general election. President bone-spurs? Refused - and after he claimed, he "absolutely would". I'm not as angry at him as I am at his idiotic supporters who let him get away with that kind of stuff.

nothing to do with the OP.
nothing the OP listed is an impeachable offense.

clinton said 39 times that she didn't know or didn't remember far more than trump.

Mueller as well never seemed to give a complete answer. For example, It's still not very clear what crime is being referenced when they talk about indicting or impeaching him. Indict him for what? "Colluding with Russia"? Too broad. If they would include details about what is specifically alleged, that would be something but none are ever revealed (correct me if I'm wrong - maybe I'm the only one who hasn't seen it).

For example, we know Hillary "colluded" with russia AND we have the details: she facilitated the sale of plutonium to the russians, and she purchased from russians a fabricated dossier for the purpose of spreading lies about Trump before the election. Not to mention the email scandal with all of its obstructions and perjuries that were committed. Facts with no need for further investigation.

If they're not going to prosecute her for the major crimes where the specifics are well known, then what makes you think Trump will be prosecuted or impeached for ????????????

Why are you telling us? The power to impeach rests in the House, not with posters at DP. Last I checked, your party controls the House and they arent going to do it.

They will all stick, but the assblowers in the republican Senate won't vote to impeach even if they personally witnessed him shooting a bunch of people on a double-decker bus in NY filled with sightseeing tourists. They'd blame the black guy standing right next to him selling souvenirs.

you dont get it...do you

the republican senate doesnt matter

what you are being told....is a flat ass lie

if the case is as cut and dried as they say, the american people will see it and force the issue

just as they did with nixon

the republican senate is an excuse....nothing more

but if the case is as bad as i think....then not only will the democrats look like it has been a witch hunt for two plus years, they may lose the house and Nancy knows it

so use the thing above your shoulders for more than a hat rack, and actually think about this for a moment...does what the senate do really matter?

or will the mandate come from the american people?

is the case strong? or not....that is the question....
