Exactly. The premise of the OP is exactly the type of "mindless" bantering that Trump feeds off of. Sadly enough, every carnival clown need his/her own "peanut gallery" and Trump is certainly the preferred president of the "non thinkers". Now, I am not defending the actions of the Anti-Trumpers, or advocating violence in any form, but sometimes words get exchanged in "heated" situations.
Case in point: I work with a handful of RABID Trump supporters, and they are the most mouthy "Redneck" individuals that I have ever met. To them, every Muslim is a terrorist and every black is a Ni**er. I can easily see a Trump supporter "mouthing off" and getting some free dental work work as a result.
There are many, many examples of the left's hatred and intolerance. This is just the latest.

If you look at all of the Trump campaign rallies, it has mostly been the intolerant left that starts the troubles, not the other way around. And, I'm not talking about just Trump rallies. I'm talking about the left in general has a huge intolerance of the right, calling them a bunch of names in the process and not allowing conservatives to speak at events (such as at Berkley and others) without instituting violence and other forms of bad behavior and refusing to let others exercise their rights to free speech. That doesn't even take into account the BLM movement, which inspire attacks and killings on innocent police officers around the entire country. They have much more intolerance and hatred than anyone on the right.
