There is nothing in the world that builds character as much as shoveling your way to the outhouse when it's 5 below and the wind is whipping around.

....except maybe shoveling your way back to the house because it's coming down so hard.

Man, I'd probably have to drive 150 miles just to find a snow shovel!:lamo

I did, however, grow up in upstate NY so I've been checking reports a little today.

yes, amount 100 miles for me, and i lived in NJ, were it snowed every winter, i had to shovel snow for the first time when i was in my 20's

I'm sure they stocked up beforehand. Some might even have superbly committed dealers.
