Yes our production of oil products was 18 million barrels a day before Biden way before Biden
number of barrels our oil producers pumped was up to 13.1 million barrels a day back when Trump was in back in Jan 2020
( a YEAR before Biden took office ) and it fell UNDER TRUMP NOT Biden to 9.7 million barrels in Aug 2020 so it looks like the real drop in Production was under Trump
When Biden took office it was 10,9 million barrels a day and it has gone up to 11.5 million barrels a day in Nov.
it is not going up fast but it is going up under Biden
So please stop trying to blame Biden for the decrease in oil production when it happened when Trump was in office

And yet, the U.S. was in control of the price of oil and not OPEC. We were completely energy self-sufficient under Trump. We were drilling everywhere and no threat to shut any of it down. Now, Joe is begging OPEC to drill because why? If we are drilling so much more and in better position than with Trump, then why is Joe begging OPED to drill more and give us that oil and natural gas? You are obviously not telling all the facts.

This will not impact gas prices until this crude is refined. Price increases like a rocket, and floats down like a feather.

most if not all of your post is BS.
YOU say WE were in complete control of the price of oil when Trump was in?
so when the Saudi's and Russia started their price war why didn't we do something about it to stop it seeing WE WERE IN CONTROL OF THE PRICE OF OIL?
Looks like THEY were the ones that were IN COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE PRICE OF OIL
They drove the price down so low they were almost giving it away and drove up the supply
they did this so much that our oil companies had to shut down a lot of their wells because they could NOT compete and after they shut them down they put political pressure on trump to go to the Saudi's and get them to cut their production and RAISE prices
YES the oil companies shut down a LOT of their wells WAY before BIDEN EVEN took office FEB of 2020( that is when you say we were producing 18 million barrels a day of oil products well according to this we were pumping 13.1 million a day and it went down to 9.7 Million barrels a day in Aug 2020 so how could have Biden caused the shut downs he WASN'T EVEN IN OFFICE

and you keep saying " we were completely energy self-sufficient under Trump" well you might want to say we were exporting more oil products then we were importing
we still needed to import different types of oil process it , and mix it with some of the oil we produced then sold that and some of our oil that other countries need to process their oil. SO we were NOT completely energy self-sufficient under Trump.
IF we just needed the type of oil we produce and not any other types we may have been but sorry we need other types of oil too
and IF you can look back at it after TRUMP went to the Saudi's and asked , ( forced ) them to cut their production and RAISE the price of oil and they did oil supplies went down and demand for oil went up so after Trump did that and the supply got low our oil companies could not get their wells back on line fast enough so to try and keep supplies steady and prices from going up too high Biden went back to the Saudi's and asked them to produce more and they basically said NO you just told us to cut production a couple of months ago now you want us to increase it MAKE UP YOUR MIND.
and that led us to where we are now.
So as I just showed you BIDEN did not have a thing to do with the supply of oil going down and prices going up
and as for you crying about Biden shutting down the XL pipeline a pipeline that is only 8% complete and would not have been finished for several YEARS couldn't have any effect on supply or the price of oil NOW

Oil supply dropped and prices went up and up only under Trump is that a good thing

If Trump did what Biden did, went to the back-logged pier, publicly admonished them to work 24 hours, gave them money to do it, and then 3 weeks later the back-log started going down, Trump would have done a cross-country tour - singing from the high heavens!

THere are two things needed before that happens

1) Improvement for batteries
2) A better supply of carbon neutral electricity

or

1) Better and cheaper fuel cells
2) A green source for hydrogen (or ammonia) that is cost effective.

it takes oil to make electric vehicles, a LOT of it.

There is a company that has already produced small batteries made from Nuclear waste
they have 9 v and AA and AAA batteries that work but they have to get the process down to where they can produce them at a reasonable cost so people can afford to buy them.
If these work out they are talking about a battery that never needs charging will run for thousands of years and the battery in your car can be plugged in to the grid and put power back into the grid instead of taking it out
as I said they have to work on getting costs down
and if the putting back power into the grid works out you could get money from the power companies and that will help pay for these batteries

They have not actually produced any batteries, just formulated a 'proof of concept'. I will believe it when I see it.

It would be nice to have an electric car that you need to replace the battery every decade though

NBD does have a battery already but it is only 40% efficient have one their testing that is over 75% but they have to get the cost down
I hope it works out
it would be a world changer
