CNN and other networks have reporters that have been hanging out at the courts since Manafort was indicted. Yes, that's right, Fox. CNN. NBC. etc. all have a reporter stalking around to read filings, follow who's there, who filed new motions, etc. On Thursday afternoon, Sara Murray from CNN- DC bureau reported that there was an 'associate' of Roger Stone that was there at the court with the grand jury and this person gave testimony for about an hour. She said that the last time that the Grand Jury was called in to hear testimony on a Thursday, that the next day, on a Friday, 12 Russians were indicted by Mueller. She surmised, and rightfully so, that this was unusual and they anticipated something was about to happen on Friday. Keep in mind, the Grand Jury isn't there at the DC court all the time, they're only called in when testimony is going to be given and needs to be heard by the GJ.

Reporters from CNN have often set up cameras at the home of Roger Stone. Last Friday was about the sixth time that CNN had a camera at Roger Stone's home. He had been saying that he fully expected to be indicted, and he had been saying that for months. CNN has a 'Russia team', a reporter and camera ready to go anywhere when needed. That night, CNN had a camera only staked out at Roger Stone's home because of this unusual Grand Jury behavior in DC.

Only the FBI and the Federal Judge know why the show of force on the part of the FBI. Maybe they felt that Stone was a flight risk, or maybe they thought Stone or his wife would try to hastily destroy evidence. Maybe they wanted the neighborhood to wake up and see how their neighbor was being raided. Maybe it was a show for drama. Nobody knows but them and it's not my place to question the motives of the FBI, yours either. But it could be that the FBI wanted to send a clear message to that it's not a good idea to lie to Congress in testimony.

What 'problems' does she see in the traditional American system of justice? Too many black arrests and convictions? Not enough money spent on training white cops about their unknown and unseen "unconscious racial bias?" The death penalty needs to be abolished and criminals need to be given lighter sentences and more opportunities to start over in 2nd or third or fourth chances?
