Authors of a new paper published in the journal Science (Gebbie and Huybers, 2019) insist “the deep ocean ultimately plays a leading role in the planetary heat budget.” The global deep ocean has much less heat today than it had during both the Medieval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age.

Earth does not have a 'heat budget'. ALL the energy absorbed by the Earth is emitted by the Earth (less a variation of plant life). It is not possible to measure the global ocean temperature.

The upward trend is obvious.

There is no 'trend' to random numbers. They are random.

Oceans warm very slowly.

It is not possible to measure the temperature of the oceans of Earth.

It's an incredible amount of mass.

Rather a drop in the bucket, compared to the mass of the Earth.

The flip side is that oceans cool very slowly.

It is not possible to measure the temperature of the oceans.

That's the scary part.

There is nothing scary about random numbers.

Your point just demonstrates that there is a point of no return,

There is no 'trigger point'.

and our children and grandchildren will inherit that.

The only thing they will inherit is the history of people like you warning about 'impending doom' and how wrong you are.

Satellites are incapable of measuring absolute temperature. They can only measure light. The emissivity of Earth is unknown.
Acoustic methods do not tell you the temperature. They only tell you relative temperatures of ocean water in a vague way.
It is not possible to measure the sea level due to thermal expansion, since bigger factors such as local barometric pressure are in play.

Credentials are meaningless on blind forums such as this one. They are not a proof. They are not science either. Science is a set of falsifiable theories. No one is prohibited from using or creating any theory of science.

Math is not a 'false claim'. The 1st and 2nd laws of thermodynamics and the Stefan-Boltzmann law are not 'false claims'.

Those are all fairly modern methods for measuring temperature. Which means there is no way anyone can no with any kind of certainty what the ocean temperature was 20 years ago let alone 50, 100, or 500 years ago.
