Not at all. Obama is saying that this is probably the only shot at there being peace in the region. He's being realistic and actually SEEKING for a solution rather than continuing the rhetoric. I respect him for that deeply.

You'd be surprized. He will lose the Zionist jews, but he probably didn't have them anyway. A lot of jews that I work with (and I am actively involved with a non-profit jewish organization), feel exactly the same way.

No he is not. He wannts Israel to give it all annd Palestine take it all. Obama is not saying a word about right of return or anything the palestinians have to give. In this speech he also talked about giving billions to the Muslim countries that surround Israel.

i suspect you are badly misrepresenting the American Jewish desire for a new policy which is far more left than Israel wants to pursue. This could get him votes - not cost him votes.

Exactly.....most American Jews are not Zionist...and recognize that there is a realistic solution only if both sides drop the rhetoric, which is exactly what Obama is suggesting.
