Obama issues a dire warning about American democracy in stunning rebuke of Trump

That was pretty much the only concrete, specific thing he said, and in the same sentence talked about how millions are out of work. Well guess what, we probably can't legally have a massive nationwide shutdown mandated from the Oval Office, but even if we could we can't do that and also not have millions out of work. You can't blame Trump (or anyone else for that matter) for both. It's pretty much either/or.

He also told us how important it is for the president to protect the safety and welfare of all, but had nothing to say about all the riots wrecking our cities over the past 3 months.

It had everything to do with Mueller. He said that Obama was behind the Mueller investigation. Quote...
"The entire Russia collusion investigation was invented by the Obama administration to either hobble or remove Trump."
How would you guess Obama made the Trump administration hire Mueller?

I'm not sure what your point is. Mueller's investigation showed no evidence of Russian collusion. It exonerated Trump.
 

It's not crazy, nor a conspiracy theory. The FBI was weaponized by the Obama administration to spy on the Trump campaign and later they trumped (no pun intended) up charges against Flynn to try to get him to flip. To be sure, the Trump administration had some unsavory characters with Russian contacts like Paul Manafort, but Obama knew there was no collusion to try to get Russia to help get Trump elected.

It indicted 25 Russians for directly interfering in the election, many of them military officers. If the investigation hadn't happened that would have stayed hidden, would never have been uncovered. Wouldn't that have been a great message to send the Russians?
There was no evidence of collusion uncovered but Mueller specifically said that he didn't raise criminal matters because his boss, Barr, had declared that Trump couldn't be indicted so it would be "unfair" (Muellers word) to make accusations that couldn't be defended against in court. That's not exoneration and Mueller said so.
Muellers mandate was to investigate interference and that's what he did. The word "collusion" was tossed into the mix by partisan hacks on both sides of the aisle. Mueller was maybe the only honest man in the whole sorry episode.
 

You mean the FBI that announced a week before the election that they were reopening the investigation into Clinton? That the same FBI that was weaponized by Obama? Boy, I didn't know Obama hated Clinton enough to torpedo her campaign.
 

I have no problem with going after Russians who meddled in our elections. I do have a problem with Obama spying on the Trump campaign and later trying to bring it down on collusion charges that Obama knew to be fake.

Mueller's exhaustive 2-year investigation showed no evidence of collusion. That's exoneration.

And it wasn't "both sides" that accused the Trump campaign of collusion. It was the Dems from start to finish.

Yes, that FBI. The FBI that also had Strzok and Page tweeting each other about how they were going to stop Trump from being president, and then doing everything they could to stop Trump from being president.
 

The fbi was monitoring kislyak.

That is FARRRRR from what it did. Mueller was TOLD, he had NO arrest authority. So, he wrote the report for CONGRESS to do their ****ing jobs. They did NOT do their jobs. As to collusion, that has no legal equivalent. Trump clearly colluded, and the Senate Rubio report shoves the needle right into the red on collusion, the colloquial term for traitor. Trump is a traitor. He is evil, he is working another agenda than what we think.

And not telling Trump they were spying on his administration and foreign policy advisors. Was that diligence?

And Obama having knowledge and directing the spying on Trump. Was he just being diligent?

This is the stuff of one-party dictatorships, not democracies. Obama talking about Trump being a threat to democracy is surreal.
