NYT: Fauci pardon was approved at 10:30pm by WH aide Jeff Zients using the AUTOPEN signature

Because Trump is insane with retribution. Whether Fauci needs a pardon is irrelevant to the fact that Trump was going to prosecute him.
For what though?
"I am your retribution."

That's why Fauci needed a pardon. Because of Trump's promised lawfare.
Enough with the cheap shots. The Democrats (and I am a progressive Democrat) engaged in protracted lawfare; four sets of criminal charges and an abundance of civil suits to jail or bankrupt Trump. They didn't succeed. Is Trump supposed to be grateful to them?

I see you've wasted your time by beginning with adhoms. Really dumb move.
Rather than an ad hom, its an accurate description.

The reason Fauci received a pardon is clear to anyone not blinded by fantasy.
Seems you are siding against past performance in favor of furthering the baseless gaslighting and politically motivated and dishonest push narratives.

For what though?
Exactly.

Sure you are.

r do those in the administration already know that there's something 'there', and want to protect their accomplice / collaborator?
It's not Fauci's fault that Trump let covid kill 1m Americans.

They still hold covid responsible for Trump's loss. Not Trump, not his behavior. Just the guy trying to protect Americans. They couldn't be bigger traitors if they tried, and they do try.

Desperate to feed conspiracies to the MAGA, reality is dead for them.

MAGA hates Fauci. He's supposed to be Trump's fall guy, I guess. Works on the ignorant and hateful. The rest of us, no.

A dedicated civil servant for decades. He’s just not a controversial figure. Leave it to maga. That’s why Guiliani owes those poll workers millions. They villainize normal people doing their jobs to fit their filthy moron CTs

Toxic blue collar ethnocentrism and sense of inferiority and rejection likely contribute to the populist anti-intellectualism such as you demonstrate.
The trades built America but is is not about who has worked the hardest but recognizing that education is required for all forms of sustained human accomplishment. Of course, if the goal is to return to the good old days of deadly childhood diseases, pervasive racism and intolerance, environmental degradation, snake oil sales and lower life expectancy, then burn down the universities.

We've had over 45 years of the liberal Dept. of Education. We've ended up pumping out kids who must add numbers with their fingers, but damn they sure know how to protest. Come out with blue hair, numerous piercings and tattooed, bitching about their life and the many imaginary boogiemen which were embedded into their paradigm through political indoctrination. Liberalism has been a total failure, for they're too damn corrupt.

Would his successful obstruction of justice justify a vengeful attack on civil servants simply carrying out their respective jobs? That's why the protective "pardons" were necessary.
