All those items are exact examples of what I'm talking about. You'll take these fake maga created issues or real scandals and declare everyone agreed with you in retrospect. Trump and Russia, for example: Mueller and a bipartisan senate committee found Trump's team did try to work with Russian assets. Paul Manfort ws found to be providing intel to a literal Russian agent. And yet here you are casually listing it as a "hoax" cause Trump taught you a new word 10 years ago.

As has been previously observed, in this thread or others, the autopen machine has been used by presidents for a long time now.

I first recall hearing about this from Kennedy's administration, being around the time, if I recall correctly, that it went from the President's secretary signing correspondence on the president's behalf. Then the autopen came along and was used for responding to presidential correspondence.

Its use now appears to have grown from just correspondence to much, much more. Not sure I agree with this greater use of the autopen machine for exactly the reasons being shown in the posting in this thread. Questions of 'Was that particular item on the approved list or not?' 'Which version of the approved list?' All this muddying the waters to the point on not having clarity, which an in person presidential signature eliminates.

Given the vastly increased amount of paperwork which requires presidential signatures from previous years to now, and not wanting to require actual presidential signatures on all of it - burning up president's time with the regular and mundane, perhaps some thought needs to be given which pieces of paperwork actually need a live presidential signature and which don't?
