The cards are reportedly being distributed at the city’s arrival center, the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan,
to the migrant families who are staying at hotels that are being used as emergency shelters.

lol, free hotel rooms and food for migrants..they do a lot better here then US homeless

NYC must be rich. Oh wait, they've got Donald Trump to fund this. No problem.

Well, they can't go to their immigration trial if they starve to death first can they.

But they've got nothing for their homeless.

Feeding thousands of people for the cost of a left handed pitcher.

Sounds like a good deal.
Yep. Efficient program with minimal administrative overhead. Looks like someone did some research before they wrote up this policy.

Glad they have a streamlined way of meeting the basic human needs of immigrants while they wait for trial. God bless America.

what a good investment in the local economy. maybe it'll support some struggling restaurants and shops nearby

Perhaps they should have just bussed them back to Texas, if you guys are worried about the cost.
Pretty sure the modern GOP position is they should have been shot at the border.

I mean, it probably would be cheaper I guess 🤡

How many times have giving home to homeless worked? like never
maybe if we didn't have open borders and incentives they wouldn't crash the border
and we wouldn't have to feed and house them
Immigration hearing are now schedules out 6 years or so - how many will even show up?
