Yeah, a single free floating virion is small enough to get through any mask. But guess what? It doesn't transmit as solitary virions and even if it did, infections are probably only going to take root with a large viral load. Water droplets are an important vector for infection, and masks do a good job of stopping them. This has been studied many times, and consistent masking significantly slows transmission in a community.

Even the best mask allows sudden bursts of air (coughing) out around the sealing area because the fibers don't allow the sudden rush of air out in time...........neither can the valve is the mask is equipped with one.

Breathing in through any N95 saturated from moisture from breathing will clog the fibers enough in 30 minutes. It will become restrictive enough to draw air around the sealing area when breathing in. And this could probably go double for anyone doing physical work.

Your previous post claimed masks were useless because the particles were too small. I see you have abandoned that argument for something completely different. Now you are arguing that masks are useless because they do not create a perfect seal around the mouth. Utterly ridiculous. When those "sudden bursts of air" happen, what do you think happens to the water droplets carrying most of the virions? They impact on the mask, and most of the virions end up stuck there. Can a small fraction of the viral load make it out the sides of the mask? Yeah, probably, what is your ****ing point? Masks aren't perfect, neither are vaccines, neither are surgeries, or antibiotics. Nothing in medicine is perfect, but it is PROVEN to be better than nothing.
