North Korea has promised "merciless" retaliation if a forthcoming Hollywood movie about killing Kim Jong-un is released, say agencies.
A North Korean foreign ministry spokesman said in state media that the movie's release would be an "act of war".
He did not mention the title, but a Hollywood movie called The Interview with a similar plot is due in October.

The North Korea spokesman was quoted by the state KCNA news agency as saying: "Making and releasing a movie on a plot to hurt our top-level leadership is the most blatant act of terrorism and war and will absolutely not be tolerated."
He added that the "reckless US provocative insanity" of mobilising a "gangster filmmaker" to challenge the North's leadership was triggering "a gust of hatred and rage" among North Korean people and soldiers. Link.

Should America be worried?
There was once a Peter Sellers comedy film called "the Mouse that roared" and this is beginning to remind me of that except in Sellers movie, people weren't starving or brutalised as they are in North Korea.

Should America be worried? - NO.
What does the U.S. possibly have to fear from that backwards rinky dink country?
Do we have diplomats in the country? 8)
Ummm, nukes
With no way to deliver them. No if the NK leadership truly went crazy enough to commit suicide by throwing the bomb at South Korea, then I'd be worried.
I guess he didn't mind his portrayal in Team America.
Being that the US has tens of thousands of troops there. (one might be my Son-in-law shortly) I tend to have reservations.
But they can deliver.
