I referenced the closeted lives homosexuals lived when they could not openly identify because society was hostile to their lifestyle, and not because their lifestyle was "on the way out". Your chart has other problems too because it's displaying people not identifying as male or female, which does not make your case. It could also be that trans people are identifying in the gender of their choice rather than not selecting one.
