You're speaking of one person and could perhaps speak of a couple more. I'm speaking about the Dems as a whole over quite a lengthy time period. Think about how often you read or hear of the Reps attacking the Dems and what response the Dems give. Or, what the Dems initiate. They, at best, are put on the defensive, if they bother to defend at all.
