Nikki Haley says slavery was a US Civil War cause after backlash

Nikki is very far left.
 
I woke up this morning, tuned my smart tv to CNN, and there, still blustering over Haley's gaffe, was a panel of offended talking heads. That the Civil War was caused by a desire to maintain a culture and an economy based on the slave labor necessary to keep King Cotton king has what relevance to the current day problems facing the nation?

If anyone can make a list of any length of the continuing negative issues derived from the Civil War, then those issues and their resolution, not the politically charged history behind the Civil War, are the only relevant matters for discussion and debate.

How easily we are manipulated and distracted.

I heard this one before...they were secretly liberal democrats posing as Republicans.
