Meh.....more like the fourth quarter. They played better in the third quarter than they had been in the first half, but considering how abysmally they played in the first half that's not saying much.

Tom Brady plays best when it counts. It amazes me how many times people count out Brady. You see it on this forum and the countless of posters that picked the Falcons to win.

Brady has been counted out so many times it fuels his drive for GREATNESS.

Hating Brady does not equal counting him out. Quite the opposite actually.

Apparently his drive for GREATNESS failed to materialize for the first three quarters of the game.
 
When the Patriots started running more, I wondered what the heck were they thinking, as there wasn't really time for that.

But what I missed was that the Patriots had twice as many snaps than the Falcons and Atlanta's defense was rapidly running out of gas.

Eventually the Atlanta D had nothing left, and the Patriot's D had energy in reserve .. meanwhile, Atlanta's O had been stiffening up on the bench.

I was on the verge of winning this, though, when it was 28-26, if Atlanta could have stopped Brady on the 2-point conversion .. it looks like it would have finished with Atlanta winning and a total of 54 points. I had Atlanta and 55 points.

Oh well ..

.. Great season of fun thanks to PoS and DA60 -- you guys are the greatest! And thanks to all who played and made it exciting.

Looking forward to next year!
