Which makes me wonder why blacks still vote Democrat. The Democrats have been working against them for decades, now.
Which makes me wonder why blacks still vote Democrat.
Wow! You really feel a certain group of people should not be allowed to vote however they wish? My suggesting to you then: Get The Hell Out of the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a dumb and racist post:3oops::roll:
It seems to me that many Blacks are beginning to recognize this as well. They can see the lack of progress made for them by the Democrats and their overuse, and the paternalism, of race politics.
Evidently, they are not as susceptable to GOP BS as the conservatives think they are! :sun
Nothing in the black community will change until blacks realize that only they can help themselves. The day that happens, the Liberals will be **** out of luck, politically.
And, life for your average black person will improve exponentially, when they cease being susceptable to Liberal do-gooder bull****, too.
What a racist thing to say.. Ever occur to you they voted for someone because they thought they were the best pick? Nah. Guess your too simple minded and/or racist for that.
With one party overwhelmingly working against the interests of those groups for decades, I am surprised at your expectation.
So why don't Hispanics or Asians do the same?
Democrats strive with all their might to keep the black community clinging to the days of slavery.
I'm pretty sure the Democrats carried the Hispanics in the last presidential election, don't know for sure about Asians, but give the GOP a little more time and I'm sure they will piss them off as well.
Although Newt is a nice guy he has not charisma like Obama or Palin, therefore he can not win. Maybe Cain and Palin together have better chance to hit Obama.
No group, none, vote in lock-step like that. It's not about "carrying" a group. You shouldn't be able to get 95 percent of people to agree on anything politically. Hispanics don't even vote for Hispanic candidates with that big of a margin.
This is why Democrats just take them for granted. They could run a rented mule, and it'd win.
Tell it to the party of exclusion:
GOP: The Party Of Exclusion
"It's embarrassing that in the same week our nation unveils a memorial to civil rights legend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., one of our major political parties aligns itself with the Old South by giving Sen. Trent Lott of Mississippi a leadership position. Lott's supporters are quick to explain that hewon the battle for minority whip—the Republican Party's second highest post—because of his incomparable deal-making skills and knowledge of the inner workings of Capitol Hill. No matter; to most Americans Lott is known only for racist remarks he made in 2002 suggesting the nation would be better off if segregation were still legal. And the party's choice to bring Lott back to the national stage suggests they're not so bothered about the fact that he's considered a racist.
The Lott comeback combined with Republican dirty tricks during the recent election make me wonder whether the party's national leadership gives a damn if it is perceived as racist. After all, the 2006 campaign season featured numerous reports of Republican efforts to deceive voters into not voting at all or voting for the Republican candidate—cementing the Republican Party's reputation as the party that works hard to limit your right to vote. Especially if you're black or Latino. The GOP's aim to suppress the African-American vote has been an article of faith for decades, capped off with the 2000 election debacle in Florida and the unequal distribution of voting machines in Ohio in 2004. This year, Latino voters in Colorado and California were targeted by voter suppression efforts. Yet, I heard not a single high-profile Republican stand up and denounce these undemocratic activities. The Republican Party has a monopoly on campaign-season dirty tricks designed to suppress the vote of people of color. Where are the moderate Republicans, the "big-tent" Republicans, trying to change this reputation?
There has been one Republican voice of protest on the Lott issue that I know of. Jonah Goldberg spoke out against Lott's victory in today's Los Angeles Times, to his credit. Though Goldberg questioned Lott's reputation as a racist, hard to do given Lott's history, he wisely asked of the whole affair: "What are those senators smoking?"
Minority voters, particularly African-American and Latino voters, already view the Republican Party with suspicion. With its Dirty Campaign of 2006 and coronation of Trent Lott, the GOP just gave Americans who believe in a multicultural and tolerant nation two more reasons not to join it."

Perfect example of the GOP BS that minorities do not buy. :sun
Yeah, that's right. Most of them are waiting for the Libbos to deliver the big payoff...that's never going to come.
That's why I got off my ass and went and got mine vice waiting for the gubmint to give it to me.
So why don't Hispanics or Asians do the same?
Democrats strive with all their might to keep the black community clinging to the days of slavery. In fact, the Democratic Party might be the most racist organization with power today, because they go completely out of their way to make sure blacks are made to feel inferior.
That's why blacks love Dems. the Dems spoon feed them and give them a lot of benefits and Obama believes in retribution big time and he hopes to get their vote next time.
Insulting the people you want to vote for your party is a brilliant plan
remember when barack the slasher asked americans to rat out their neighbors for expressing fishy thoughts
Facts Are Stubborn Things | The White House
how bout the time he essentially told americans who disagree with him to shut up
YouTube - Obama: I don't want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking
and don't forget the day he said half of america, the overwhelming winners of the last election, by the way, don't think for themselves
RealClearPolitics - Video - Obama: Republicans "Do What They're Told"
And everyone knows the benefits should remain with the rich right? Yes, the GOP's class war against the working class is a much better plan to draw them to your party! :sun
