That "abuse of emergency powers" saved California from rampant Covid spread while other states were being utterly ravaged. A state with 44 million people, who had fewer covid deaths that states with 2-3 million. He was a good governor, imo; not perfect, but better than many we've had.

Overall, he's been an adequate governor; I'd give him a B-... throwing a mask-less party in the middle of a pandemic gave him the minus.

I’m 43. I have never been as active politically as I am now. I put my spare time and money where my mouth is.

My shoe fund went to Stacey Abrams last month, I think GA will be really important overall…

Things don’t look good. I’ve noticed the temp going up- TBH, it’s going to get worse unless normal decent Americans stand up. I have never been a really rowdy person, I’m more of a pacifist. Go along to get along.

I’m going along…waiting to have my punching bag (literally) delivered- so I have an appropriate outlet for my frustration at the current state of play…

I guess my point (?) here is I’ve always been good “using my words.” Up until the last few months. Now I just want to punch someone in the face. I wonder if *I* feel that strongly, how frustrated *other* folks are these days?

Violence is never the solution, but it is, imo, the inevitable conclusion if everyone is set on “sticking it” to the opposing side above all else.

It fits his doing that and I would normally think so, but his clear statements that he has no plans to and plans to support his longtime friend Harris ring true to me. By saying that, he'd be setting himself up to look like a lying, backstabbing scumbag if he went back on it. He MIGHT be setting himself up for a run if she is out of the race for whatever reason, including not getting enough votes in the primary and he jumps in.
