The real "Fake News"!

Why would Newsmax CEO out himself?

Because the corrupt Trump administration is on the way out, including anit- America law inforcer AG Barr. Of course freedom of speech is protected by our Constitution, but fraudulent behavior and defamation of character accusations from outlet's like Newsmax will not be ignored by a real DOJ sworn to the oath of our laws.

Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy has admitted that some of the channel's post-election news coverage has not been accurate, but defended the output as merely providing people's opinions.

Newsmax's post-election coverage as like "watching a parallel universe" as it continues to push disputed claims of widespread voter fraud, the debunked theory that Dominion Voting Systems glitch massively favored Joe Biden and the suggestion that Trump could still be president in January.

Hasan also played an "especially ridiculous" clip from Diamond and Silk, who appear on Newsmax despite being cut from Fox News for spreading conspiracy theories about the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the clip, Diamond and Silk, real names Lynette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, claim the "China Virus" and the "scandemic" are linked to an overall plan for the Democrats to rig the election.

"Given you yourself have been a journalist Chris for more than 30 years, do you feel embarrassed to be running nonsense like that on your network and calling it news?" Hasan asked.

Hasan then interrupted Ruddy to ask him "You're not saying your own shows are accurate?" which he does not respond to.

"We have gone out of our way to say we have no evidence that the Dominion software was manipulated in any way," Ruddy continues.

"We are reporting what people are saying like the Trump campaign, we're not necessarily embracing it."

Newsmax a lazy approach to journalism, no investigative journalism, just a forum for conspiracy theorists, false claimers, frauds, and person's who baselessly accuse anyone thinking there is no reprocussion

Why would anyone refer to journalism and NewsMax in the same sentence?

They have always been reliable purveyors of whatever right wing talk radio meme is current at the moment.

They don’t report. They repeat. Press releases from right wing operatives and recycled talk radio memes, and clickbait.

They, like so much of right wing media, never hesitates to lie to its audience. The audience comes right back for more.

They were front and center in peddling the most dubious claims that the Bush Administration made about Iraq.

Like a lot of right wing media, they prey on their audience’s short attention span. Often recycling previously discredited stories for it’s gullible audience.

Curious if the right wing will listen to the "Real News" that Newmax is "Fake New" as revealed by CEO Ruddy in the above article

Is NewsMax and OAN cutting into Fox's ratings at all? Seems Trump is off on Fox and I have seen several conservative posters here say over the last few weeks that they have moved from Fox to Newsmax and other media sources. Trump seems to be totally avoiding the press even his friendly media types.

Did we really need confirmation that Newsmax has an agenda?
