I’m not sure how much Trump wants the Satmar sects’ endorsements given their fundamental opposition to the existence of the state of Israel, their belief that the Holocaust was divine retribution for Zionism, and their opposition to women in higher education.

Probably not. But given how unlikely it is in general that this particular group would support a woman for president, I can’t imagine this endorsement turned any Harris voters either.

And it’s not the kind of thing he can really trumpet as an example without calling into question whether he supports their position on Israel.

Trump will probably be better for Israel the nation, or at least the current government of said nation. From their perspective, at least.
