New World Translation Curiosities... (2 Viewers)

Yes, it does...eternal destruction...

You gave Rev 20:14 for your argument.
But - Did you read the preceding line? Rev 20:10?

Revelation 20:10
And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also;
and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

torment (merriam/webster)
extreme pain or anguish of body or mind : agony

Torment, is something that is consciously felt.

Rev 20

The Defeat of Satan

7 And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison
8 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea.
9 And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven[b] and consumed them,
10 and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Judgment Before the Great White Throne

11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.
12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life.
And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.
13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.
14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

a blessed day of Resurrection to all, even to the Atheists with a limited time offer of Grace and unlimited blessings contained therein.

Yes. He has died and paid the debt and Resurrected for all - even non-believers.
Being victorious against death - we are all going to be resurrected.

Jesus has cleared the way for us.
He's laid out the condition.
The ball is in our court.

So now, we are given the choice how we want to spend our afterlife.

When was the first gospel written? How long after the death of the guy on the cross? And you and anyone else is trying to tell me the words came from god's mouth to the writer's ears decades after the guy on the cross died? Really?

bongsaway:

What has the death of Jesus to do with anything written in the Bible, either before or after his death? Inquiring minds want to know.

The Significance of Jesus' Death - Bible Hub

Jesus' death is viewed as the ultimate and final sacrifice, fulfilling the requirements of the Law. Hebrews 9:22 states, "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." Jesus, as the Lamb of God, offered Himself willingly as a perfect sacrifice.

Logician Man:

I agree with your above response completely. My question to bongsaway is in response to his comment at Post 150, which I copied to the very top of this message. bongsaway apparently thinks Jesus is God and that Jesus inspired the writing of scripture. Notice how he responded at Post 168.
