New Quota of Rounding Up 3,000 Illegals Per Day

Maybe it's me but Steven Miller is the scariest man in America or what used to be America. He is to Trump what Eichman was to Hitler. Why 3,000 per day? Is that even remotely possible? The mindset of this purge of human beings come from the mind of a mentally retarded maniac who now believe Biden was executed in 2020 and has been a cyborg or robot or some other bizarre creature in the mind of Trump. In our short history this is now the decline and eventual death of democracy. With that said ask why the people and politicians are not objecting to this. Have we been socially pacified? Ask also why does Trump dominate the news every single day. Go online and see his face everywhere. It is an old propaganda trick to saturate the country with news of the leader. Look at Russia, China and North Korea as just a few examples of this tactic with pictures of their dictators everywhere you look.

No.

They have already maxed out detention facilities with an estimated 600 arrests per day. I see no indication they are actually willing to spend what it takes, or get as draconian as it's actually required, to deport 1 million people a year.

I'm sure they are relying on existing apps, used by legal migrants and asylum seekers to stay compliant, to make it easy to catch people. However, it seems pretty obvious that migrants will stop complying with the app if it's only going to be used to deport them.

Republican elected officials are in thrall to the plutocrats, thus their policies are deeply unpopular. As a result, they have no qualms about fanning the flames of racism, xenophobia, homophobia, and other identity politics in order to keep getting voted into office.

FWIW, Dear Leader's approval rating among Hispanics is collapsing, and at least some of that is due to the excesses and failures of current immigration policy.

Overall, Americans are not happy with how immigration is being handled.

That's one for every 7 ICE employees. 1 arrest per week per employee doesn't seem terribly ambitious.

Believe it or not, successful organizations set goals and make plans to carry them out. They don't just assume someone else will do it for them.

I did not know presidents did the job of local law enforcement.

It's going to be hard when these ICE agents have to go in with an entire platoon of kitted-out SWAT Team agents to grab a handful of illegal aliens...many of whom they have to release for being citizens later.

Having masked and uniformed paramilitary agents with assault rifles walking America's streets and looking for all the world like the Russian Spetsnaz disrupting American daily life and dragging away non-violent people to foreign prison camps will, I believe, only sour the opinions of the wider majority of Americans against the DHS and the Trump Administration.

I see videos all the time of US police nowhere near the border just deciding to stick up a checkpoint and harass everyone in what's obviously a fishing operation and treat everyone as suspicious with zero actual cause.
The police then get angry when people know their rights and assert them.

Yep - they do it all the time. Often under the pretext of keeping the roads safe by preforming sobriety tests.
