The closer one looks at the results, the worse they appear.

  • Trump has said the GOP’s “One Big, Beautiful Bill” is broadly popular, but the Pew poll found only 32% of Americans approve of it.
  • Trump has said the public “loves” his trade tariffs, but the Pew poll found 61% of Americans disapprove of his tariff policies (which is consistent with several other recent national surveys that generated similar results).
  • Trump has said the Jeffrey Epstein scandal has helped improve his public standing, but the Pew poll found 70% of the public disapproves of the administration’s handling of the matter, and 63% lack trust in what the White House has to say about the controversy.
  • Trump is even losing ground among voters who supported his 2024 candidacy: His approval among these voters has slipped from 95% to 85% over the course of the year.
  • In terms of his personal characteristics, the number of Americans who see Trump as “mentally sharp” has dropped below 50%, and he fares far worse on questions related to his “honesty,” his ability to “keep his promises” and his interest in looking out for “ordinary” people.
What’s the good news for the White House in the Pew survey? There isn’t any.

Not that Trump minds looking ridiculous, just look at his meeting in Alaska that he rated a 10.....

God save the Queen
We mean it, man
We love our Queen
God saves

- oh c'mon now, do I have to tell you?

Ok, here's another clue:

God save the Queen
The fascist regime
They made you a moron
A potential H bomb

Except "Lizzie", bless her heart and her Corgis, are gone.

Charles is who is to be saved now.,....if you believe there is a 'god'. Remember him? The guy who didn't want to sleep with Dianna?

If there is a god? Why the **** would she have created Monarchies?

Pew is an obvious outlier.

Nope, I guess not. Surely he must be killing it on immigration, right?

Hmm. Not so much I guess. How about inflation? Oh man....you may want to avoid that polling category altogether.

It's NOT -22%. - Pew poll

It's NOT -22%. - Pew poll
No, but it's not great either and the Pew poll is a singular poll while RCP is a polling aggregator. I'm pretty sure coming home with a 22% on one's test only to have it bumped up to a 45.5% due to a grading error wasn't going to spare one's parents' wrath.
:)

"Awesome Donnie, you failed less badly!! So for that you only get a Quarter Pounder with small fries and no milkshake. No Big Macs for losers in this house!"

Rule Number 1 to understanding Trump: Trump lies.
Indeed. Along with that .......he exaggerates things to always make himself look better ( in his eyes....at least). His contact with reality is tenuous at best. He not only lies....but he believes his own lies.

Except you don't know either. I used to like Rachel but ya know?? The only thing we know about polling in this day in age is that it's all about who you poll. Most of the assertions are bs, because we lost our way. We went from prioritizing integrity and honesty to prioritizing partisanship and lies, and Rachel's made a lot of money capitalizing on American divisions, so there you have it. Trump's the eternal optimist that maybe believes that good news begets good news He's always been hyperbolic and will always be I guess, but I don't expect objectivity out of any president, especially cuz I haven't seen it in decades. However, I don't expect it out of the general media anymore either, but that's a shame because that's relatively recent, and the beginning of the end of the trusted news conglomerates. More and more, people are relying on people like themselves for the truth: folks on social media with video observations and recordings to substantiate exactly what they've experienced

I don't know about the Pew survey, but the good news for MAGA Jesus is that, despite his giving us all a daily dose of his idiocy, Americans seem so polarized that about 44-45% of the ones likely to vote seem to support him no matter how many times a day he has to change his diaper.

Shooting the messenger is all you have? This is about the poll not Rachel.

I addressed the poll as the priority and that's obvious, so you're being disingenuous in focusing on something so silly. Polls are no longer meaningful

Trump lied today.
In other news, Trump lied yesterday.
and not breaking news.......Trump will lie tomorrow. ........sigh.

And then he obfuscates..... ( groan ....)

Even worse.........one does not know what position he will take hour to hour.........or who he talked to last.....
